NIT Rourkela BTech +M.Tech in Mining Engineering cut off trend has been increasing in the recent years. In 2021, the closing rank for BTech under General category for all India quota was 35458.  Interested students need to first check the eligible criteria for GATE exam. The technology institute shortlist candidates based on GATE entrance scores. MCA	Candidate must have completed BCA/ Bachelor Degree in Computer Science Engineering or equivalent Degree with above mentioned marks from any recognised University/Institute. OR Candidate who have completed B.Sc./ B.Com./ B.A. with Mathematics at 10+2 Level or at Graduation Level can also apply. 45% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category.
After 10th Diploma	Candidate passed 10th class/equivalent conducted by BSE, Odisha/equivalent are eligible to apply. The lower age limit is 14 years and there is no upper age limit.
