The COER University MTech eligibility criteria differs based on the specialisation. Listed below are the eligibility requirements to be fulfilled for each MTech course:
Computer Science & Engineering: Candidates must have a graduate degree in BE/BTech with minimum 55% (general) or 50% (SC/ST)
Mechanical Engineering: Students who have a graduate degree in BTech/BE or equivalent degree in relevant stream with a minimum of 60% aggregate from a recognised Institute are eligible to apply
Strcutural Engineering: Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field from a recognised university. Additionally, they should have obtained a valid score in GATE or other appropriate entrance exams
Electrical Engineering: Candidates who have completed graduation under any relevant engineering stream, securing at least 55% marks or equivalent CGPA in aggregate, from a recognised university are eligible to apply
The university conducted SOET for all the UG and PG courses in the field of Agriculture, Horticulture and Pharmacy courses offered by it. For all the remaining courses, the university conducts online counselling based on past academic merit.
