Candidate must have passed the 10th standard (Madhyamik) Examination of the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education or its equivalent examination with English, Physical Science/Science and Mathematics among others as subjects securing at least 35% marks (no rounding up) in aggregate as per AICTE norms excluding the marks of the subject taken as additional. Candidates appearing in the Secondary (Madhyamik) Examination of the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education or its equivalent examination in 2021 with English, Physical Science/Science and Mathematics among others as subjects may also apply. However, conforming to the benchmark of 35% marks (no rounding up as per AICTE norms) in aggregate excluding the marks of the subject taken as additional, is a must, failing which candidature is liable to be cancelled even after selection in JEXPO-2021. Candidate should not be born after 01.07.2006 and there is no upper age limit.

The phase 1 of IIT Delhi placement drive 2026 is completed. As per reports,  more than 1500 offers were made. In addition, 15 international offers were received during IIT KGP placements 2026. The highest package stood at INR 244 LPA.

No, the institute does not offer direct admissions. Candidates have to qualify the respective entrance test for admission. The accepted exam is IEMJEE for admission to BTech, BCA and BBA courses. The university also accepts national or state-level entrance exams like CAT/MAT/JEMAT for MBA and WB JECA for MCA. In JISCE every course is best in their domain but as far as the innovation, research and holistic studies are concerned ECE (Electronics and Communication Engineering) is the best engineering course. CSE and CST are also equally best as the demand is very high for these course.
