MET 2021 Pharmacy Exam Pattern

Manipal Entrance Test 2021 or MET 2021 will be conducted by MAHE (Manipal Academy of Higher Education) earlier known as Manipal University. MET 2021 Pharmacy registrations and applications are now being accepted by MAHE. Candidates can apply till May 25, 2021. The deadline for application submission has been extended. MET 2021 pharmacy exam is expected to be held on April 16-20, 2021 (First attempt) and June 11-14, 2021 (Second attempt). The extension of dates was announced in the wake of nationwide lockdown due to the COVID-19 pandemic.  

MET 2021 pharmacy exam will be held for admissions into B. Pharma (Bachelor of Pharmacy) and Pharm D (Doctor of Pharmacy). The exam pattern will help the candidates in understanding the marking scheme, duration of exam, mode of exam and other vital information.

MET 2021 pharmacy exam will be a computer-based test of 150 minutes which will have 200 multiple-choice questions, each question carrying four marks. MAHE has inducted a provision of negative marking in the MET 2021 pharmacy exam. For every wrong question, one mark will be deducted while for every correct answer four marks will be awarded. There will be no marking for the unanswered questions.

MET 2021 pharmacy exam will have four sections containing questions from Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Mathematics, English & General Aptitude. Below is the question tally table of each section.

Candidates can register for a total of 2 attempts depending upon the test centre/exam slot, the best of the two attempts score will be considered for the final ranking.

Yes, the round wise MET cutoff will be released online. The cutoff will be different for every course, category and college. Students will be able to access the cutoff after each round of seat allotment. MET cutoff can be used to check for chances of admission

If the students find any discrepancy in the MET result, then they are advised to contact the authorities immediately. The information should be corrected by the authorities as soon as possible. However, the scores and ranks will not be open for corrections.

At the MET exam centre, the students will have to bring one valid identity proof. They are allowed to bring any one of the following – Aadhaa Card/Voter ID/Passport/PAN Card/School ID, etc. No photocopies of the identity proof will be allowed.

No, the authorities will not accept digital copies of the MET admit card at the exam centre. All students will have to bring a print out of their hall ticket for verification. If the students do not have the physical copy of their admit card, they will not be allowed to attempt the exam.

In case the student's preferred exam centre is not available, the authorities may change their MET exam slot. This may happen if the exam centre is cancelled or is fully booked. If the students have any issues, they can contact the authorities.

MET 2026 counselling dates will be announced soon. Students will be able to register and fill out their choices for the counselling process online. The MET seat allotment results will be declared in four rounds. Students will be selected for admissions based on their MET scores.

MET 2026 result dates have not been announced yet. Students will be able to check their obtained scores through the result. To access the result, the candidates will have to log in using the required credentials. For the different exam phases, separate results will be released.

MET 2026 admit card will be released tentatively in April (Session 1) and May 2026 (Session 2). Separate admit cards will be released for the two examination sessions. Students will have to download and bring the hall ticket to the exam centre.
