MET 2026 Question Paper Pattern

MET question paper 2026 is prepared to help authorities know aptitude of students who are applying for admission. Students are assessed on knowledge in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English. They are advised to refer to official MET paper pattern to be prepared for entrance exam. Being familiar with the paper pattern will help them to know more about how the entrance exam will be held. Some important information available through MET exam pattern 2026 is duration, mode, subjects, number of questions, type of questions and more.

MET is conducted as a computer based test. Both MCQs and NATs will be present in the MET question paper. Overall, 45 MCQs and 15 NATs have to be attempted in exam. There is no negative marking for NATs. However, students will get one mark deducted for every incorrect answer in MCQs.

MET mock test is available online at manipal.edu. All interested candidates will be able to attempt the mock test to prepare for the exam.

Q:   Can I crack MET through Self Study?

With proper preparation strategy and dedication, students can crack MET with self study. Since MET and board exam syllabus are quite similar, candidates can prepare simulatenously for both exams.

Q:   What is the MET exam date?

MET 2026 exam date has been released. Phase 2 was conducted on May 23 and 24. The authorities conducted Phase 1 on April 13 and 14.

Q:   Is the MET mock test available only for registered candidates?

MET mock test will be available for all students. For mock test, no login details will be needed. Mock test will be available online. Candidates can use mock test to prepare for examination.

Q:   How many papers are there in MET?

MET exam will consist of one paper. However, there are four sections in the paper. Candidates will have to attempt questions from Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English.

Q:   What is the total score in MET?

As per MET exam pattern, total score is 240. However, for every wrong answer in MCQs, one mark will be deducted. There is no negative marking for NATs.
