MET 2026 Rank Card

MET 2026 Rank Card OUT: Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE) has released MET rank card 2026 online. Candidates can now check their obtained ranks in MET 2026 exam through the official rank card. To download MET rank card, they will have to log in at manipal.edu using their registered email address and password. The obtained ranks will be used by the authorities during MET 2026 counselling and admission process. If both phases of exam were attempted, best MET score are considered for admission.

Steps to Download MET Rank Card 2026?

Candidates can follow steps given below to download rank card of MET 2026 exam.

  • Go to manipal.edu
  • Click on login page.
  • Candidates will have to provide their registered email address and password.
  • After login, go to rank card tab.
  • Manipal MET rank card can be downloaded and printed out for future use.

Q:   What is good score in MET?
A: 

A good score in MET will depend on which course and campus the candidates wish to apply for. However, overall the candidates should score 110+ marks out of 240 marks to get a good chance of admission.

Q:   What are the steps to check the MET seat allotment result?
A: 

MET seat allotment result is announced online. To check seat allotment, students will have to log in with their required details. MET seat allotment status will be available on screen.

Q:   Is MET easy or tough?
A: 

According to previous years' trends, MET exam is moderate in difficulty. Candidates who are well prepared for their board exams will be able to prepare for MET exam simultaneously.

Q:   What is the 12th standard marks required to be eligible for MET?
A: 

As per MET eligibility criteria, students should have atleast 50 percent marks in 12th class examination. Students should have studied Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and one optional subject. For admission, 50% weightage will be given to 12th marks.

How is MET 2026 Rank Card Prepared?

MET 2026 ranks are prepared by the MAHE authorities by taking 50:50 weightage of MET scores and 12th standard qualifying exam marks. If the candidates have attempted both exam phases, the best MET 2026 score will be considered. To submit 12th standard qualifying exam marks, they will have to visit the official counselling website at counseling.manipal.edu.

Candidates will have to submit their 12th PCM marks correctly so that the correct MET ranks are calculated for admissions. No changes can be done in later stages of MET admission.

Q:   If both MET exam sessions are attempted, which score will be considered for admission?
A: 

If students attempt both MET exam sessions, then best score out of two will be considered for admission. Students are eligible to attempt one or both sessions of examination. If needed, a third session may also be conducted.

Q:   What is the total score in MET?
A: 

As per MET exam pattern, total score is 240. However, for every wrong answer in MCQs, one mark will be deducted. There is no negative marking for NATs.

Q:   How much is the MET counselling fee?
A: 

The MET counselling fee is INR 10,000. The students have to pay the MET counselling fee online, i.e., through net banking/credit card/debit card. If the students are selected for admission, the counselling fee will be adjusted with their tuition fee.

Q:   When will MET admit card be released?
A: 

MET 2026 admit card has been released for Phase 2 exam. Students will have to download and bring the hall ticket to the exam centre.

MET 2026 Counselling

MET 2026 counselling registration has started for Round 1. During official counselling, candidates have to fill out their choice of courses and campuses in the order of preference. MET 2026 seat allotment is announced online in separate rounds. Allotment is done based on merit, preferences and seat availability. Once seats are allotted, they will have to confirm their admission into MET participating institutes before final date.

According to previous years' trends, 185+ marks in MET along with minimum 85% marks in 12th standard exam will have chances for a safe rank for CSE in Manipal.

120 in MET is a good score, as it will give candidates higher chances of admission into core courses in participating campuses. This score has less chance of securing admission in CSE.
