CSEET New Syllabus
The Institute of Company Secretaries of India handles everything related to CSEET exam, including releasing syllabus, defining exam pattern, conducting exam and declaring result. From June 2026 onwards, ICSI has changed syllabus, pattern, fee and frequency of exam, in order to restructure the exam. Students planning to take CSEET exam for upcoming session must know the updated syllabus and CSEET structure to prepare accordingly for the exam. CSEET June 2026 exam will be conducted between June 01 and June 04, 2026.

ICSI has made some changes to the syllabus for CSEET exam. Check out this table to get latest CSEET syllabus, applicable from June 2026 onwards:

Commonly asked questions
ICSI conduct CSEET examination for three hours per subject. Candidates have to attempt questions in given time. Candidates will not be given extra time under any condition. The question paper will be submitted once the duration is over. ICSI conducts the CSEET exam in offline mode.
There are no prescribed number of attempts for CSEET. Candidates can appear for the CSEET exam in multiple attempts until qualified. The validity of the CSEET scorecard is one year. ICSI conducts CSEET examination three times in a year, i.e., February, June and October. Candidates can choose to appear for any of the three sessions. However, candidates must stay updated with the cut off dates of CSEET examination.

There will be no negative marking in Business Laws and Management paper.

The number of students registered or appeared for the CSEET exam is not notified by ICSI. Soon after the declaration of results, ICSI announces the CSEET pass percentage which shows the percentage of students who have cleared the CSEET exam.
Company Secretary Executive Entrance Test is conducted four times a year. Candidates preparing for CS course will have to appear for CSEET to qualify for CS Executive programme of CS course. The admission process is as follows:

The ideal time to start practicing from CSEET mock tests is when you have covered 60-70% of the syllabus. It will give you an idea of where your preparation level stands and how much practice you need till exma date.
