Himachal Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test 2024 ( HP TET )
The Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education Board (HPBOSE) will release the result after the HPTET 2025 November session exam starting from November 2, 2025. The Board will release the HPTET result 2025 under the candidate's login. The Board also released the subject-wise breakup of all the ten(10) subjects with the numbers of appeared, passed, absent, and pass ratio of the candidates.
The candidates can get the HPTET result 2025 direct link here to check their result and download their HPTET scorecard. The HPBOSE conduct the HPTET 2025 exam on November 2, 5, 8, 9, and 16 in two sessions. The exam will conduct offline in pen and paper mode.

Candidates who are able to obtain minimum qualifying marks in the HP TET exam are declared pass. The HP TET minimum qualifying marks are 90 out of 150 for General category candidates and 82 out of 150 for Reserved category candidates. Those who fail to obtain the HP TET passing or qualifying marks need to appear for the exam again.
The validity of HP TET is lifetime. Candidates who qualify the HP TET exam will be provided with the eligibility certificate so that they can apply for the teacher recruitment in Himachal Pradesh schools for Punjabi, Urdu, TGT (Arts), TGT (Medical), JBT, TGT (Sanskrit), TGT (Non-Medical), TGT (Hindi), Special Educator (For Pre-Primary to Class-V), and Special Educator(For VI to Class-XII). However, candidates need to fulfill the age limit and eligibility criteria prescribed by the respective teacher recruitment agency to apply for the job.
No, there is no negative marking in the HP TET exam. Candidates get zero marks for an incorrect answer and one marks for each correct answer. Total of 150 questions are in each paper.

The HP TET exam question paper is set in bilingual language- English and Hindi languages. Each question in the exam, except for English language, is given in English and Hindi. The HP TET question paper is made available in two languages for every paper. In HP TET Shastri paper, the questions are partially Sanskrit and partially Hindi.
