HP TET syllabus 2023 has been prescribed by the Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education (HPBOSE). HP TET Syllabus 2023
The HP TET syllabus is different for all the papers- JBT, Shastri, TGT (Arts), TGT (Medical), TGT (Non-Medical), Language Teacher, Punjabi and Urdu. The subjects covered by the HP TET syllabus 2023 are child psychology, development, pedagogy and teaching-learning processes, paper-related subjects, and others. Language of HP TET Question Paper 2023
The HP TET 2023 exam paper will contain questions in the bilingual format in English and Hindi languages. However, the Shastri TET question paper will be partly in Sanskrit and partly in Hindi, Punjabi/Urdu TET question papers will be set in Punjabi/Urdu/English language only.

Q: What are the subjects for the HP TET exam?
A: The subjects for HP TET include child psychology, development, pedagogy and teaching learning processes, mathematics & botany, zoology, maths and others.The candidates can check the entire detailed syllabus on the HPTET syllabus Shiksha page. The candidates have to prepare for different subjects according to their specialisation to become a teacher in Primary and Upper Primary Schools of Himachal Pradesh. The candidates will teach in classes 1 to 5 (primary level) and 6 to 8 (upper primary level) after qualifying the HPTET exam.
Q: Can I prepare for the HP TET exam in two months?
A: To prepare for competitive exams like HP TET requires at least six months of preparation to qualify the exam with good scores. Though the candidates who have already prepared for the exam earlier can qualify the exam in two months. To qualify the exam the candidates have to follow the tips given below:

A: The duration of the HP TET exam is 2 hours 30 minutes for each paper. Each paper carries total 150 marks. The candidates will be given +1 marks for each correct answer while no deductions will be made for incorrect answers. The candidates should prepare for accuracy and time management as there is no negative marking scheme in the exam.
