The section-wise syllabus of ANSI-SE course paper is as under: 

Section A: Mathematics (25 marks) - Algebra, Trigonometry, Calculus, matrices, differential equations, geometry, mechanics, mathematical statistics, vector algebra and vector calculus 

Section B: Chemistry (25 marks) - General and Physical chemistry, organic chemistry and inorganic chemistry 

Section C: Physics (25 marks) - Mechanics and wave motions, thermodynamics, basic electronics, optics and lasers, electromagnetics, quantum mechanics, relativity, solid states and nuclear physics, solid-state electronics

Section D: Chemical Engineering (25 marks) - process calculation, thermodynamics, fluid mechanics and chemical operations, heat transfer, mass transfer and transport phenomenon, chemical reaction engineering.

Section A: Mechanical Engineering and Production Engineering (50 marks) - Basic concepts and laws of thermodynamics, combustion of fuels, properties of steam, steam generators, turbines and condensers, internal combustion engines, gas turbines, air compressors, heat transfer, mechanical engineering design, manufacturing technology, computer-aided manufacturing and manufacturing automation

Section B: Electrical Engineering (50 marks) - Electromagnetic induction, AC fundamentals, AC circuits, DC generators, DC motors, transformers, induction motors, alternators, power system alternates

Section A: Agricultural Chemistry (50 marks) - Irrigation and water, irrigation methods, measurement of irrigation water, the necessity of drainage, accidents, seed, diversity of life, organic chemistry and inorganic chemistry, plan cell, structure, plan physiology, 

Section B: Chemistry (50 marks) - chemical equilibrium, colloids, electrochemistry, chemical kinetics, catalysis, optical and geometric isomerism, carbohydrates, methods of preparation and properties used in alcohol etc.
