TIFR GS 2026 Registration Form: Application Fee, Eligibility Criteria, & Documents Required

The application fee for the TIFR GS 2026 Exam is different for male and female candidates, but the payment method is similar for all candidates: online. Candidates need to submit their application fees through Internet Banking, Debit Card, Credit Card, UPI, or any other available payment options.

Students who want to apply for TIFR GS 2026 must read the following steps to know the details process to apply for the TIFR GS 2026 Application Form. 

Step 1 Registration Process: Students must go to the official website and register themselves. Students need to click on the 'Apply online' tab under the 'Application' tab. Then, the students need to fill in the TIFR GS Registration Form 2026 with the needed information like date of birth, name of the programme they want to apply for, preferred exam centre, email address, preferred subject, candidate's name, date of birth, and gender. After filling in all the needed details, students need to click on the "Registration' tab. After these steps, the candidates will receive an activation link in their email ID. Students must click on the link sent to their registered email ID, and the application process will be completed. 

Step 2 Application Form: Students need to complete the application form details by adding necessary details like date of birth, candidate's name, parent's name, and academic details, along with the passport-size images (size should not be more than 100 kb). If the timing does not clash, students are allowed to appear for multiple subjects for the TIFR GS Entrance Exam 2026, but students must know that they need to fill in separate application forms along with the application fee.

Step 3 Application Fee Mode of payment: Male students need to pay INR 1000, and female students need to pay INR 500 for the TIFR GS 2026 application fees. The mode of payment is online, so students need to pay the fees via credit card/UPI/Debit Card, Net Banking or any other mode of payment available. If in case students do not receive an acknowledgement related to the payment status, they must wait for at least two days. Also, students can log in to their accounts by visiting the official website to check out the payment status.

Step 4 Submission of the Application Form: Students need to click on the 'submit' tab, and they should take a printout or save the Application form in PDF Format. Students must remember to submit their application fees in offline mode as a DD along with the reference code and telephone number on it.

• An electronic copy or scanned image of the candidate. The image should be passport size (file size should not be more than 80 kb). Students are not allowed to upload any personal images, like selfies or images that have been edited; otherwise, they will be rejected. 
• A scanned copy of the candidate's signature (the size should not exceed 80 kb). 
• A signed copy of the HOD/Principal's letter of recommendation from the candidate's college if in case they belong to the fee waiver category.

Only candidates who filled in the application form and paid the application fees will be able to download their TIFR GS Admit Card 2026. The admit cards are released a week before the TIFR GS Exam day. Students need to download their TIFR GS 2026 Hall Ticket from the official website by filling in their login details. In case students find any errors in the admit card, they should inform the examination authority and ensure that all the details are corrected before the exam day.
