
RRB JE Syllabus 2025: The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) will release the RRB JE Syllabus along with the notification on the official website. The syllabus of CBT 1 and CBT 2 is constructed in such a way that it assesses the academic ability and problem-solving aptitude. The syllabus can be downloaded from the official website of RRB. It is crucial for a candidate to understand the syllabus during the exam preparation journey. With the help of the syllabus, candidates would come to know about the topics and from where they have to prepare. The selection process of RRB JE includes four stages, namely Computer-based test 1 (CBT 1), Computer-based test 2 (CBT 2), document verification, and medical test. RRB JE Exam Pattern 2025
The CBT is the first stage and is of screening nature. The standard of questions for the CBT will be generally in conformity with the educational standards or minimum technical qualifications prescribed for the posts. The normalized score of Stage 1 exam shall be used only for short listing of candidates for Stage 2 exam as per their merit. The questions will be of objective type with multiple choices.
Candidates who are shortlisted for Stage 2 of CBT availing the reservation benefits of a community, PwBD and ExSM shall continue to be considered only against that community for all subsequent stages of recruitment process.

Minimum percentage of marks for eligibility in various categories:
- UR: 40%
- EWS: 40%
- OBC: 30%
- SC: 30%
- ST: 25%
These percentage of marks for eligibility may be relaxed by 2% for PwBD candidates in case of shortage of PwBD candidates against vacancies reserved for them
RRB JE CBT 2 Exam Pattern
Short listing of Candidates for the Stage 2 of CBT exam shall be based on the normalized marks obtained by them in the Stage 1 of CBT Exam.
Total number of candidates to be shortlisted for Stage 2 shall be 15 times the community wise total vacancy of Posts notified against the RRB as per their merit in Stage 1 CBT.
