MAHA TET Syllabus 2026: The Maharashtra State Council of Examination (MSCE) will publish the syllabus in detail along with the notification. MAHA TET Paper 1 Syllabus 2026

The MAHA TET Paper 1 contains questions from five sections, namely, Child Development and Pedagogy, Language-I, Language-II, Mathematics and Campus Study. Have a look at the section-wise syllabus below-

Child Development & Pedagogy

The questions in the Child Development and Pedagogy section are based on the educational psychology and teaching-learning process of children belonging to the age group of 6 to 11 years. The section includes questions based on special needs children and on the teaching methodology of different subjects.

Language-I & Language-II

Candidates can choose Language I and Language II as per the grouping mentioned below.

MAHA TET Paper 2 Syllabus 2026 

The MAHA TET Paper 2 contains questions from four sections, namely, Child Development and Pedagogy, Language-I, Language-II, Mathematics and Science or Social Studies. Have a look at the section-wise syllabus below.

Child Development & Pedagogy

The Child Development and Pedagogy section contains questions from the educational psychology and teaching-learning process of children belonging to the age group of 11 to 14 years. The section also includes questions on children with special needs, school interaction and characteristics of a good teacher. It will also include questions on teaching methods and evaluation methods.

Language-I & Language-II

Candidates need to choose Language-I and Language-II subjects as per the grouping mentioned below.

The Mathematics and Science section carries a weightage of 60 marks. Out of the total 60 marks, 30 marks are for Mathematics and 30 marks for Science. The questions are related to the basics of Science and Mathematics, problem-solving ability, teaching of Mathematics and Science and scientific knowledge. The level of questions is based on the curriculum of Classes 6 to 8.

Social Science

The questions in the Social Science section are based on the concepts, content and pedagogical knowledge of Social Science. The difficulty level of the questions is based on the Classes 6 to 8 syllabus.
