Yes, the university offers admission based on national and university-based entrance exams. There are some courses which are offered on the basis of merit scores. MGU admission to the UG courses is done on the basis of marks secured in the entrance examination conducted by the Commissioner of Entrance Examinations. MGU Kerala conducts a Common Admission Test (majorly known as MGU CAT) for admission to all PG courses. However, it also accepts several national-level entrance exams for MBA and PhD admissions.

In addition to this, MG University also offers distance learning courses through its Center For Online Education (COE). MG University admissions to all the programmes offered by the university and the affiliated colleges are conducted through a Centralised Allotment Process (CAP).

The MG University B.Ed course fee is the overall amount covering various components, such as tuition fee, admission fee, library fee, security deposit, etc. The course fee is required to be paid at the time of admission to confirm the seat. The application fee for admission to MG University-affiliated colleges is INR 1,300 for B.Ed. for students belonging to the General AI category. The MSc placement report 2023 is not released as of now. However, as per the university NIRF report 2023, the median package offered during MG University PG 2-year placements in 2022 stood at INR 5 LPA. In addition, a total of 87 students were placed out of 440 students during PG 2-year placements in 2022. A dip of nearly 17% is seen in the PG 2-year median package offered in 2022 as compared with 2021. 

CEE has announced the revised KEAM 2024 exam dates. While the Computer-Based Test (CBT) for Engineering remains scheduled from June 5 to June 9, 2024, there's a change in the exam timings. Engineering exams will now be held from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM, shifting from the previous slot of 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Conversely, the Pharmacy exam, originally planned for June 6, will now take place on June 10, 2024, maintaining its original timing from 3:30 PM to 5:00 PM.

Candidates appearing for the Engineering Course must report at the examination centers between 11:30 AM and 1:30 PM. For the Pharmacy Examination, candidates should report at the examination centers between 1:00 PM and 3:00 PM.

Mahatma Gandhi University, Kerala may offer admission to the BPharm course based on merit in the last qualifying examination. Moreover, the university may also accept KEAM scores for the admission. Filling KEAM application form: Candidates have to provide their personal, educational, income, and reservation details in the application. Uploading of images: Next, they have to upload scanned images of photographs and signatures with the given dimensions. Photograph, signature and left thumb impression should be 150 pixels and 100 pixels in height with 10-30 kb. Paying the application fee: candidates have to pay the fee online. Taking a printout of the application form: After payment, candidates have to take a printout of the application form. Candidates must also note that proforma (s) should also be printed along with the application. Print out the application form should not be sent to the CEE office.

At the time of admission, certain documents have to be submitted for verification purposes. These documents have to be submitted in original or as photocopies.
