Hansraj College offers scholarships to students as financial assistance to undergraduate and postgraduate course students. In addition to the below-mentioned scholarships, students are awarded scholarships such as Inspire scholarships by the Department of Science and Technology, and others. Every year, the College Alumni Association provides two awards of INR 5K and INR 3K to the meritorious students of the Enabling Unit.

The college has the provision of facilitating a fee concession of 50% to 100% on the basis of annual income, girl child (Shri Saya Pal Chadha Scholarship), family background, and Sumangla Devi Hem Raj Bhalla Trust, etc. Hansraj College offers over 60 titles to meritorious students under respective disciplines. The mode of Hansraj College course admissions is online. The accepted entrance exams are CUET UG and others. Candidates willing to get admission to various courses must take part in the Hansraj College admission process before the last date of application. Follow the admission process mentioned below after the CUET result declaration:

Step 1: Register on the DU CSAS portal in multiple phases.

Step 2: In the order of priority, students must submit college + course combination preferences on the CSAS dashboard. Aspirants of Hansraj College must select their desired programme and Hansraj College as the preferred combination.

Step 3: Hansraj College then releases the DU CSAS Seat Allocation Lists and the procedure continues.

Step 4: Once the interested candidate accepts the provisionally allocated seat, the concerned college will verify the documents uploaded by the candidate online and the eligibility. The college has an option to 'Reject' or 'Accept' the admission of the student basis the verification.

Step 5: Once the DU-affiliated college provides the approval, candidates will have to pay the 'Admission Fee'.
