Amity University, Noida PhD Admission 2020

Amity University offers PhD programme in full-time as well as part-time mode. Eligible candidates can apply only in the online mode. Candidates applying to PhD need to clear a written test (PET) to seek admission.

Candidates seeking PhD admissions from Amity University can pursue the programme in both full-time and part-time mode. PhD is offered across various specialisations in fields like Arts, Science, Commerce, Management, Architecture, Fashion, and many more.

  • Final selection for PhD is based on PET (PhD Entrance Test), on the date selected by them
  • This is followed by an interview on the same day as the written test
  • Candidates who have cleared an All India National Level Competitive Examination like NET of UGC / CSIR / ICAR (ASRB) / GPAT / ICMR / GATE / DST - INSPIRE within the last 2 years from the time of applying for PhD at Amity, will be exempted from written test

Amity University PhD Application Process 2020

  1. Candidates need to visit the official website of Amity University and fill the online application form

Note: Application form needs to be filled very carefully because there is no provision to change the details mentioned on the form under any circumstances

  1. The application fee of 1100/- needs to be paid through online payment method (credit / debit card/ PayTM)

Note: Do not forget to mention your Name & Amity Application Form Number at the back of the Demand Draft

  1. Candidates need to register themselves on the admission microsite of Amity University for updates
  2. After confirmation on your Admission microsite about receipt of your Form, it will normally be processed within 3 to 5 working days
  3. Qualifying candidates will be informed about the date, time and venue of Selection Process (written test and/or Group Discussion and/or Interview and Extempore) on the Admission microsite only
  4. Candidates need to make arrangement of their travel and accommodation on their own
  5. Alternatively, candidates can appear for an interview through skype instead of coming in person to the campus
  6. Candidates need to check their admission microsite regularly for admission related queries as well as updates
  7. All selected candidates will be informed through an Admission Letter which can be printed from Admission microsite

Offer of admission will be provisional & valid only for the specific programme opted by the candidate and for the same academic session only. The offer of admission will automatically stand cancelled if the conditions are not fulfilled by the specified time

Documents needed to fill the application form:

  • Scanned passport size photograph: (jpg, gif, png, jpeg, bmp). The dimensions of the photograph should be 3.5 x 4.5cm width
  • Scanned Class X mark sheet. (format : jpg, gif, png, jpeg, bmp)
  • Scanned Post-Graduation marks sheet till final semester / year. (format : jpg, gif, png, jpeg, bmp)

Note: Candidate who apply for PhD part-time, need to submit their employment verification details at the time of form filling and NOC as per format, at the time of joining after their selection to the programme

Amity University PhD Course Fee 2020

  • For all full-time PhD specialisations, the fee is 0.5 lacs for the 1st semester
  • For all part-time PhD specialisations, candidates need to pay 0.335 lacs as the 1st semester fee
