Ashoka Aptitude Test 2026 Pattern -  Ashoka University, the exam body. pre-decides the AAT pattern. Students who wish to get admission to Ashoka University must go through this test pattern carefully. As per the Ashoka Aptitude Test pattern, the examinees will have to take multiple-choice questions. They will be given 90 minutes to attempt these questions. There are broadly two sections to the MCQ paper among which 80 questions are divided equally. Students who clear the AAT 2026 will be shortlisted for the interview round. Time limit to attempt the on-the-spot essay in Ashoka Aptitude Test is 30 minutes. Students can take essay questions after aptitude test questions. A 5-minute break is given after essay question. The university provides some sample papers on their website. However, potential students can also practice by solving generic problem solving, critical thinking and reasoning questions. Not much emphasis is given to subject-specific questions in the test. Since, this entrance exam is for undergraduate programmes, applicants are advised to study their high school study material to study for the test.

The preparation strategy for the Ashoka Aptitude Test is relatively uncomplicated than other university-level entrance exams. The steps to prepare for AAT 2026 are listed below.

Ashoka Aptitude Test is conducted in offline mode. You need to visit a physical test centre to appear for exam. Online test option is not available for Indian residents.
