B.A. in Urdu Colleges in Uttar Pradesh - Fees 2026, Admissions

MGKVP facilitates the provision of various state-government scholarships for students enrolled under various courses that it offers. These scholarships are provided by the Government of Uttar Pradesh through its online scholarship portal. BA students of MGKVP are also eligible to apply for these scholarships. A nationwide entrance exam called the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) is required for admission to all undergraduate degrees at all central universities. Registration for CUET UG 2024 closed at 11:50 p.m. on April 5, 2024. The online application for CUET 2024 was open. The CUET 2024 admission card was made available by the National Testing Agency via exams.nta.ac.in/CUET-UG/ on May 29. The CUET 2024 exam for Delhi centres was originally planned for May 15, but the NTA has moved it to May 29. The CUET admit card and intimation slip can be downloaded by candidates who have paid the application fee and registered for the exam.

Lucknow University releases the UGPET merit list within a week of the exam date. Candidates are able to check their UGPET scores online on the official website.

A total of 400 seats are offered for BA at Gautam Buddha University. Majority of seats are reserved for BSc (Hons) in Biotechnology with Research is 60 followed by BSc (H) in Political Science is 120. The overall seat breakup is mentioned in the table below:

The university offers courses at UG, PG and doctoral levels. Candidates pursuing a course can avail of CCS University Scholarships. Students can avail UP Government and Central Government Scholarships as per their eligibility. Interested students can apply for the scholarships on the respective government website. Candidates must make sure that they apply before the last date.

Based on verified shiksha reviews and feedback of student, here's an overview of the effectiveness of the placement cell for BA courses at Deen Dayal Upadhyay Gorakhpur University (DDU GKP):

• Good placement records: According to some students, around 85% of students get placed every year, with an average salary package of INR 6 LPA offered by Jubilant company. Others reported that around 30-35% of students get placed annually.
• Active placement cell: Multiple students praised the placement cell for being active and supportive in helping students secure job offers. Some mentioned that the cell organises campus placements every year, with over 100 students getting placed in recent years.
• Variety of job offers: While some students reported receiving job offers as teachers, others mentioned that top roles include positions in government NGOS, private sectors, and multinational companies.
• Limited internship opportunities: Not all students received internships, and some reported limited opportunities. However, those who did participate in internships mentioned that they received good stipends.

Note that these findings are based on individual student experiences and may vary depending on factors such as individual performance, course specialisations, and market demand.

UPRTOU Allahabad offers placements to all students. Rajarshi Tandon Open University has a very active and transparent placement cell that organises regular placement drives and attracts top MNCs every year. UPRTOU has not released the latest placement report for the year 2023. Since UPRTOU is an open university, there is less possibility of releasing a placement report for the year 2023. However, as per Shiksha's review page, the average package offered was in the range of INR 4 LPA to INR 6 LPA during the recent placement drive. Overall, more than 70% of students were placed, and many top companies such as Amazon and Flipkart, among others, visited the UPRTOU campus during the latest placement drive.
