No, Deen Dayal Upadhyay Gorakhpur University (DDU Gorakhpur) does not accept CUET in its admission process. Rather, the university carries out its own entrance examination- the DDU Entrance Test- within both the undergraduate and the postgraduate courses. The applicants that are supposed to be admitted should apply to take this exam via the official portal of the university and take the test following the set date. The admission process is primarily made on the basis of the merit and rank achieved in DDU Entrance Test only and no weight is given to CUET scores at any point of the selection process.

According to Doon University’s rule, students must maintain a minimum of 75% attendance to appear in the end-semester examinations.

In exceptional cases, the Vice-Chancellor may allow the shortage of attendance to the extent of 5% and that too on the recommendation of the HoD concerned according to the conditions laid down by the Academic Council.

Students whose total attendance is less than 75% will not be allowed to appear in the end semester examination and will be declared fail for that semester and year accordingly.

University of Calicut is a good university. Calicut University, also known as The University of Calicut, is a state-private university that was established in 1968 in Calicut. Calicut University has been ranked 69 under the University category by the NIRF in 2022. It is recognised by the UGC and is approved by the AICTE. It is accredited with an "A" Grade by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council. Admissions are open for various courses for 2023 and the accepted entrance exams are KEAM, CMAT, CUCAT, and others. Candidates must go through the KEAM 2023 result, KEAM 2023 question paper, and KEAM 2023 syllabus before giving the exam. Talking about the placements, according to the NIRF report 2023, a total of 151 out of 824 UG and PG students were placed during University of Calicut placements 2022. The median package offered to UG (3-year) and PG (1-year) students was INR 2.64 LPA and INR 3.96 LPA during placements 2022.

The MSc placement report 2024 is not released as of now. However, as per the university NIRF report 2025, the median package offered during MG University PG 2-year placements in 2024 stood at INR 5.5 LPA. In addition, a total of 455 students were placed out of 565 students during PG 2-year placements 2024. 

Candidates can join SGT University only after getting shortlisted for the applied course. The selection criteria varies course-wise. Candidates need to pass CUET-UG or qualifying exam for admission to courses such as BSc, BCA, etc. For MSc, MBA, MTech, etc. aspirants require CUET-PG/ merit scores.
