Perfect placements, good faculty, excellent infrastructure, and a good environment too.
Placements: The placements are overall very good. People get up to 26-27 LPA packages each year, and that's increasing further with time. The placements come from large companies like Deloitte, PwC, Bain, and KPMG, etc. One of the most reputed colleges of Delhi University, it's a favorite place for the recruiters.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is overall good. The canteen and lounge area provide a good space to relax and take a break from the overwhelming schedule of the timetable. The college has three blocks, with Block B specifically for the Science department. There are several labs too.
Faculty: Teachers are overall very helpful and kind. Teachers do help, but you can't rely on them for attendance marks and IA adjustments, etc. You need to be regular with the classes. Overall, they do help you when needed. The teachers are well qualified and experienced.
Other: Eco Hons is a very reputed course in the UoD, and one of the most prodigious ones in Hansraj College too. It helps to develop excellent skills and placements further as well.

Life at Hansraj College: A student's POV.
Placements: The placements are really good. The average package was 10 LPA, the highest was 15-20 LPA, and the median package was 8 LPA. The recruiters are Deloitte, KPMG, Infosys, and many more. The major sectors they get placed in are banking, consulting, finance, research, and accounting.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is one of the aspects I really like. Classrooms have ACs installed and are really well maintained, which makes studying soothing. Also, the ambiance of the college is very nice. We have a lot of gardens where students can sit and interact or study.
Faculty: The faculty is very top-notch. Professors are very knowledgeable and approachable. They are graduates from top-notch colleges too, like SRCC or St. Stephen's. The exam pattern is credit-based: 4 credits for core subjects and 2 credits for less important subjects, and for 4 credits, there are 160 marks, which are further divided into 70+90. 70 for internal assessments and 90 for written examinations.

Every day you spend here in Hansraj is going to be memorable.
Placements: About 70-90% students get placed from economics honours. The highest package offer in my course is about 23 LPA, the average is 7-9 LPA, and the lowest can go upto 5-7 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Deloitte, ICICI Bank, Brain and Company, etc. About 70% students gets internship from Hansraj. Top roles offered in my course are business analyst, economic research intern, consulting intern, etc.
Infrastructure: Facilities available in our department are fully air-conditioned rooms. There is Wi-Fi all over the college, and we have two types of boards. We have a library that has every type of study material available for every course and subject. The food quality of the canteen is good. It's prepared with hygiene, tastes amazing, and is quite cheap. All types of sports facilities are available all the time.
Faculty: Teachers are very knowledgeable and experienced. They are always ready to help and clarify doubts. They always try to make classes more interactive and engaging, which makes studying less boring and more interesting. The curriculum is very relevant and prepares us to face real-life problems that are actually faced in industry work.
Other: I chose this course because I have always had an interest in economics. I always wanted to know how the economy of a country works. Things I wish that improve at Hansraj is that gap between classes, it waste alot of our time. Freshers’ organised this year was average, nothing special. It could have been better. The crowd is very chill and fun.

There is a lot of exposure on the north campus.
Placements: Around 80-90% of students get placed in Hansraj from the economics stream, as many roles offered by companies require skills that economics students have. They are ready for the corporate world. Some students also go for higher studies. The highest package will be 20+ LPA, and the average package is up to 7 LPA. Almost every student gets an internship, as there are a lot of opportunities at Hansraj.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure stands out. The campus is spacious and green. The atmosphere here is very peaceful. It is always well maintained and clean. We have 3 buildings, a beautiful library, 5 canteens, a badminton court, a basketball court, a sports ground, a shooting range, etc. I love to sit outside in the library corridors with my friends.
Faculty: The faculty of Hansraj is very well organized. Professors are academically strong and very experienced. Many teachers hold PhDs. Classes are mostly focused on concept clarity. The curriculum is built in a way that helps us in real-world applications. Exams are moderate. You need to study before exams, not just one night before the exam.
Other: The societies are very active here in North Campus, so we get a lot of exposure. They encourage us to participate in seminars and webinars, as well as in case competitions. We also go to other colleges for competitions, which helps us a lot in our social communication.

Good faculty, infrastructure, and cold coffee.
Placements: Economics honours have the highest package in Hansraj which is around 36.5 LPA. A total of 200 offers are made at Hansraj every year for placements. In economics honours placements range up to 80 percent every year. Average package is 8.5 LPA and the median package is 8 LPA. Top companies like Brain & Company, Axis Bank, etc., come for recruitment.
Infrastructure: It is a very well-maintained college in DU. Very clean and peaceful. Red buildings and floors are covered with titles which makes it more special. Canteen food is nice but canteen cold coffee is irreplaceable. We have Wi-Fi all over campus but it doesn't work really great. My favourite part of our college is the projector in each classroom which helps in giving great presentations and is easy to understand when teachers use them to explain some hard topics.
Faculty: Exams are quite hectic and sometimes the management isn't very good at managing exams. Apart from these teachers are good at explaining hard topics and are approachable for confusion and doubts. Curriculum is related and based on practical problems that we will need in corporate jobs.
Other: Societies of Hansraj are very active and events are kept happening almost every day. College also conducts fests, farewells, and freshers in which we can enjoy. The crowd isn't my favourite but still I have some great friends. One thing I like most is that almost every type of facility is available around Hansraj.
