How CUET placement changed my life in college.
Placements: About 20-30 percent of the students get placed. There are plenty of top companies that come for recruitment. Top recruiting companies would be Penguin. An entry-level role is offered at times with a pay cheque of merely Rs 50,000 - Rs 60,000 I believe. Students from this course end up in various fields.
Infrastructure: College provides Wi-Fi in every part of the institute. Labs and library are full equipped with the necessary elements. Hostel is quite small to accommodate students. The food in the canteen is affordable and it's cheap too. The college is very well known for its sports department.
Faculty: Most professors are very helpful and qualified. I believe the college has some of the best teachers to help you. The curriculum is very much relevant, and it helps the students to get to know what their job sector is going to be like and what they are going to work with. Semester exams are quite different if you study. The pass percentage is 40 percent.

Life at Venky campus 2022-25.
Placements: Majorly, B.Com (Hons), B.Com States Hons, and Eco Hons have good placements, and placement ranges from 4 LPA to 12 LPA. Various companies like Deloitte, EY, and KPMG visit the campus for recruitment, and students can get on-campus and off-campus internships. Roles according to the course are offered on campus.
Infrastructure: Sri Venkateswara College has one of the best infrastructures in Delhi University. The library is newly built, and there is also a reading room for studies. The canteen is okayish, but there is a good seating arrangement in the canteen. There is campus Wi-Fi, so you can use it if you know the password.
Faculty: My college has one of the best faculty members in Delhi University, who have great experience in their field of studies. There are university exams after every semester, which totals 6 semester exams in the 3-year degree program. I am from the 2022-25 batch, and I really enjoy my life here.
Other: The crowd of the college is very good. There is our college fest named NEXUS, which is one of the best fests in the DU circuit. Sri Venkateswara, aka Venky, is the best college in South Campus, which competes with North Campus colleges of Delhi University.

Good placements, faculty members are good, and mostly things are good.
Placements: Almost 70% of students are placed. 4 LPA - 5 LPA is the highest salary, and 1 LPA - 2 LPA is the lowest. Recruiting companies are Google and Microsoft. 50% of students got internships in companies like Google. Many roles like manager are really good. I recommend that you all join this college.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is working, but the infrastructure is old. New infrastructure is needed, and AC library is there. Labs are good but classrooms require maintenance and new infrastructure. Taste of food is good but drinking water from college can be risky, it can cause diseases be very cautious.
Faculty: Teachers are really helpful. They have a lot of knowledge, and they are easily approachable. Course curriculum is good. They test our skills and also teach us very nicely. Exams are not that tough if you have some basic knowledge of whatever has been taught.
Other: I chose this course because of my interest in it.

Life in Venky-enriching experience.
Placements: Around 60% of students were placed. The college has an excellent placement cell. The salary packages start from 5 LPA and go up to 20 LPA. Companies Brain, PwC, and EY hire a lot in Venky. Internships like content writing, marketing, HR, copywriting, etc., are available in our course.
Infrastructure: College is pretty big and has good infrastructure. The Wi-Fi works pretty well in classroom and library. Labs and libraries are air-conditioned and are in good condition. Hostels are average. Rooms aren't very big and the food is also average and very monotonous.
Faculty: Teachers are very well-versed in their subjects and have a lot of experience. Course curriculum is very vast and provides industry knowledge. It prepares students well for the outside world and its challenges. Exams are held only at the end of semester and they are very generic and easy to pass.
Other: I chose this course because I love literature. Moreover, Venky has a legacy and holds very high prestige. However I believe the college could work a little more on infrastructure development. College has several events, its annual event being Nexus which is a 3 day event. College also has several clubs like debate, dance, music, etc.

Life at SVC: a sweet ride.
Placements: There were a good number of students in commerce courses at the end of the third year. An average package of 6 LPA was common, while the highest stretches to 15+ LPA bagged by a few candidates. Companies like Deloitte were observed to take people across courses, maintaining that they had offered internships previously. In my course, most people opted for further studies instead of campus placements, and some opted for working for publishing houses.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is pretty decent. The classrooms are clean and ventilated, some have air conditioning, and most have projectors. The labs are well maintained, wi-fi is available consistently throughout the campus, there is an ATM, and there are two options for food: the canteen (which serves decent and hygienic food) and Maggi Point for snacks. The library is a bit cramped, but it has a good number of books for reference. There is a medical room, a beautiful green garden, and huge grounds. The hostel is decent, provides meals, basic furnishing, and has the advantage of proximity to a college, but it admits very few students based on academics.
Faculty: Faculty and academics, as a humanities student, are undoubtedly the best parts of SVC. The professors are well accomplished and experienced, and they are always up for academic discussions even outside of class timings. In the classroom, there's a non-judgmental atmosphere where everyone can speak their minds. The professors are lenient with assignments too, provided one doesn't exceed the deadline. The curriculum is refreshed every few years, so it stays relevant. Semester exams are checked leniently; however, one should take internals seriously and maintain a minimum CGPA of 5.
Other: The best thing about English honors from DU is that you really learn how to understand and analyze text to near perfection. This is a useful skill in the dying age of media literacy and can benefit one's career. Besides that, the experience at SVC—the college life—is something that stays with you for the rest of your days.
