The University of Allahabad has released FAQs related to entrance exams conducted for admission to various undergraduate courses. In this document, the university has clarified that Allahabad University UGAT, and entrance exam for BA LLB admission i.e. LFAT will not be conducted this year. The university will be shortlisting candidates on the basis of Central Universities Entrance Test (CUET) 2022 for admission to BCom, BSc Home Science/ BSc Mathematics/ BSc Biology/ BA/ BPA/ BFA/ BA LLB courses.

Subjects for Section III of CUET 2022:
The section III of CUET 2022 is a General Test, and this section is compulsory for all candidates. The general test subjects are as follows:
- General Knowledge
- Current Affairs
- General Mental Ability
- Numerical Ability
- Quantitative Reasoning (Simple application of basic mathematical concepts arithmetic/algebra geometry/mensuration/stat taught till Grade 8),
- Logical and Analytical Reasoning
The exam pattern for CUET 2022 is as under:
Exam mode - Online mode i.e. Computer-based test mode
Slots - First slot from 09.00 am to 12.15 pm, and second slot from 3 pm to 6:45 pm
Marking scheme - One mark for each correct attempt, negative marking of 0.25 marks for each incorrect question
