The University of Allahabad has released FAQs related to entrance exams conducted for admission to various undergraduate courses. In this document, the university has clarified that Allahabad University UGAT, and entrance exam for BA LLB admission i.e. LFAT will not be conducted this year. The university will be shortlisting candidates on the basis of Central Universities Entrance Test (CUET) 2022 for admission to BCom, BSc Home Science/ BSc Mathematics/ BSc Biology/ BA/ BPA/ BFA/ BA LLB courses.

The university has also shared subjects to be chosen while filling up CUET 2022 application form, for admission to its undergraduate courses. The last date of application for CUET 2022 is May 6. The subject combination for Allahabad University UG admission 2022 are as under:
Candidates can apply for CUET score accepting colleges through CUET UG 2025 application form. While filling the application form, candidates will be required to enter the name of the preffered universities and courses in order of preference. On declaration of the CUET results, the scores will be shared with the universities for which candidate has applied. Basis on the score obtained candidate will be shortlisted for the applied course.
The university has not released the eligibility requirement to apply for LLM course at Allahabad State University now known as Prof. Rajendra Singh University. However, as per external sources, the minimum eligibility for LLM course is graduate in the field of law. Subjects for Section III of CUET 2022:
The section III of CUET 2022 is a General Test, and this section is compulsory for all candidates. The general test subjects are as follows:
- General Knowledge
- Current Affairs
- General Mental Ability
- Numerical Ability
- Quantitative Reasoning (Simple application of basic mathematical concepts arithmetic/algebra geometry/mensuration/stat taught till Grade 8),
- Logical and Analytical Reasoning
The exam pattern for CUET 2022 is as under:

Slots - First slot from 09.00 am to 12.15 pm, and second slot from 3 pm to 6:45 pm
Marking scheme - One mark for each correct attempt, negative marking of 0.25 marks for each incorrect question

Type of questions for each section of CUET 2022 are as under:
Yes, OBC candidates applying for CUET must upload the OBC-NCL certificate in online CUET application form. The OBC-NCL certificate must be issued in consonance with the latest guidelines of the Government of India. If candidate fail to upload the OBC-NCL certificate (issued on or after 01 April, 2024) at the time of CUET 2025 registration, then in such case they will have to upload a declaration in lieu of OBC-NCl certificate to that effect.
Candidates belonging to reserved categories are admitted under the seats reserved for them in accordance with the rules prescribed by Government of India. However, in the case of central universities admission, the reservation criteria of the respective university shall be applicable.
For admission in Universities through CUET UG 2026, the policies regarding quota, category, relaxation, reservations, qualification, subject combinations, preferences etc of the respective University / Institution shall be applicable. For appearing in CUET exam there is no age limit, however, candidates must check the age criteria (if any) prescribed the university in which candidate is desirous of taking admission.
As the CUET eligibility criteria for admission may be unique for every University, the candidates are advised to visit the University website to which they are applying for their respective course and check the subject mapping criteria and age criteria.
Before selecting the test or domain subjects, candidates are advised to visit the official website of university/organaisation they wish to apply for. Candidates must check the courses offered and eligibility test that they should appear in for admission to desired course. The choice of language/domain subject and General test will depend upon the course and university. Candidates will be able to opt for one or more tests as per the requirement of the course and university from the following sections:

PRSU LLM course admission is entrance-based. Candidates who meet the eligibility requirements can fill out the university application form. The university further shortlists applicants based on their scores in the last educational qualifications. The results are announced in the form of a merit list. Shortlisted candidates are then required to pay some amount of the fee to confirm their seats.
