JUET 2017 for Law Admission in Jammu University
Jammu University conducts JUET to offer admission to aspirants in programmes offered at the University’s main campus, offsite campuses as well as affiliated colleges.
Jammu University Entrance Exam 2017 will have two question papers, one for PG course admissions and the other for UG courses.
On the basis of an aspirant’s performance in JUET 2017, he/she can secure admission in law programmes such as BA LLB (5 years) and LLB (3 years).
In order to shortlist aspirants for admission, University of Jammu takes into account the candidate’s academic merit as well as performance in Jammu University Entrance Test (JUET). The weightage given to both is as follows:

JUET 2017 Eligibility Criteria for LLB Course
Aspirants seeking admission in 3 year LLB programme at Jammu University meet the eligibility criteria if they have appeared for or cleared their final year bachelor degree examination with atleast 45% marks if they belong to General category and 40% aggregate if they are from SC/ST category. Candidates are eligible for admission if they possess their bachelor degree in any stream.
JUET 2017 Eligibility Criteria for BA LLB Course
To meet the eligibility criteria for admission in BA LLB course at Jammu University, aspirants should have passed/appeared for any one of the below mentioned exam:
- Higher Secondary Part-II Examination (in 10+2 Pattern)
- Any other equivalent exam in any discipline of J&K Board of Secondary Education
- An examination recognised as equivalent.
Candidates are only eligible for admission if they have secured atleast 45% aggregate in the above mentioned exams provided they belong to General category or 40% in case of SC/ST category.
Age Limit: Aspirants fulfill the eligibility criteria for Jammu University entrance exam if they are of the below mentioned age as on July 7, 2017:

JUET 2017 Admission Process
Step 1: Fill JUET 2017 Application Form
Aspirants need to fill their JUET 2017 application form on the official website of Jammu University. Candidates need to note that they can submit only one application form for Jammu University entrance exam. If any applicant submits more than one JUET exam application form then all the admission forms submitted by him/her will be rejected.

Candidates can pay the JUET 2017 application fee only by means of Jammu & Kashmir Bank Challan.

Step 2: Download Admit Card
Candidates can download their JUET 2017 admit card from the official website of Jammu University. JUET admit card would contain details such as the candidate’s name, course for which he/she is taking the entrance exam as well as the complete address of his/her test centre.
Step 3: Give JUET 2017 Exam for Law Admission
Jammu University Entrance Test is of two and a half hour duration. In the law entrance test, aspirants will have to attempt 150 objective type questions.
Step 4: Check JUET 2017 Result
The result for JUET exam for law course admission is declared on Jammu University’s official website. JUET result 2017 as well as score card can be downloaded by aspirants by filling in details such as registration number and password or registration number and date of birth.

JUET 2017 exam pattern is such that aspirants need to attempt 150 objective type questions in 2:30 hours.
