I like being a part of all the small and big cultural activities that take place in and around the campus: Namira Sayed

In school, I took up science under parental pressure. My parents always wanted me to become a doctor but I had no interest in doing so. I was always interested in marketing and brand building. After 12th grade, I had to convince my parents to allow me to pursue my field of interest. Till the time they agreed, a lot of colleges had stopped accepting admissions. While looking for colleges, I came across Amity University which offered Bachelors in Journalism and Mass Communication. I really liked the course structure that they offered. The variety of subjects grabbed my attention. The university also gave equal importance to both theoretical and practical learning. I read more about the university and its other branches. After doing thorough research, I applied for it. The university had good reviews and feedback.

Amity conducts an entrance test and a personal interview for their Bachelors in Journalism and Mass Communication course. The entrance exam was based on general knowledge and creativity. Whereas the interview round was to test your personalities. There was no need for a coaching class to crack the exam. You just have to be well aware of your current happenings. You should also be creative. During the interview, you should be confident about yourself and your answers. A thorough reading and practice are enough to crack the exam.

Most of the time in the college goes by in attending lectures. The teachers are interactive so it does not get boring or tiring. The film lectures are very interesting. The college has various extracurricular activities happening every now and then. It keeps the students busy. I like being a part of all the small and big cultural activities that take place in and around the campus.

My college experience has made me grow as a person. It has made me more responsible and dedicated to my career. It has helped me improve both academically and personally. If given a chance I would choose to do what I love. My college experience has helped me meet new people having different thought processes, from various parts of the country. It has been a very interesting experience so far.
