Goa Institute of Management Placements 2019: Highest CTC offered Rs 24 lakh

Goa Institute of Management has registered 100% placement for its PGDM and PGDM (HCM) batches of 2017-2019. The PGDM Big Data Analytics (BDA) batch too, has been placed for internship.

The Goa Institute of Management (GIM) has reported 100% placement for the 2017-2019 batches of PGDM and PGDM (Healthcare Management). The highest domestic salary offered was recorded at Rs 24.4 lakh per annum in PGDM, an increase of 11% over previous year. In PGDM (Healthcare Management), the highest CTC offered was Rs 23 lakh per annum. The entire batch of students attending the PGDM Big Data Analytics (BDA) programme too have been placed for internship in top companies.

The final placement process of PGDM programme saw participation from reputed companies like ITC Ltd, Accenture, Deloitte, Reckitt Benckiser, IBM, HSBC, Barclays, Grant Thornton, HP, and Ernst & Young.

The students were offered roles and responsibilities in diverse areas like Research, Analytics, Finance, Consulting, Digital Operations, HR, Quality, E-commerce, Pharma, Healthcare and Media.

In the PGDM (Healthcare Management), the National Health Systems Resource Centre (Technical Support Institute with National Health Mission, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India) visited the campus for the first time and selected two students for a one-year fellowship.

The final placement process of GIM this year, also witnessed international recruiters like Diageo and Enhance Group (Oman) visiting the GIM campus.

A total of 131 companies participated in the final placement process and there was a 26% rise in PPOs/PPIs.

PGDM in Big Data Analytics (BDA) Internship

The PGDM (BDA) batch of 59 students was placed for internship in many top notch firms including, UB, Royal Bank of Scotland, Kabbage Inc, Honeywell, HDFC, Mahindra & Mahindra, Volvo, Landmark and Britannia.

Launched in 2018, the SAS-powered PGDM (BDA) is the first full-time residential programme in management in India for Big Data Analytics. The course combines management with technology and analytics and focuses on creating managers with expertise in data analytics. In its very first year, the PGDM (BDA) of GIM has been ranked one of the top 10 Analytics programmes in the country by Analytics India.

No, direct admissions are not available for many courses at GIM Goa. The accepted entrance tests for admission to the UG, PG, and other courses is XAT, CAT, and others. FPM direct admissions are available for students.

GIM Goa has all the facilities given by tier 1 college. Goa Institute of Management was establsihed in the year 1993 & is accredited by AMBA,  SAQS,  & BGA. GIM is a member of AACSB. GIM Goa popular programmes are PGDM & the HCM are accredited by the NBA

The Goa Institute of Management average package 2025 for PGDM and PGDM HCM was INR 15.13 LPA and INR 14.68 LPA. The average package offered to PGDM BDA and PGDM BIFS students during placements 2025 was INR 15 LPA and INR 14.51 LPA, respectively.
