XIMB Placements 2020: Highest Salary Rs 26 Lakh; Average Salary Rs 15.42 Lakh Per Annum

In the final placement process of Xavier Institute of Management Bhubaneswar or XIMB for 2018-2020 batch the highest salary offered recorded is Rs 26 lakh per annum, which is Rs 1.50 lakh more than last year. This year, 199 companies participated in the XIMB placement process in which 584 students from MBA-Business Management (BM), MBA-Human Resource Management (HRM) and MBA-Rural Management (RM) were placed.

Programme-wise, average salary for MBA-BM has been recorded at Rs.15.42 lakh per annum, for MBA-HRM has been recorded at Rs.12.87 lakh per annum and for MBA-RM it has been recorded at Rs.7.78 lakh per annum.

Compared to last year, the highest, average and median salary packages this year has increased. The highest domestic salary offered at XIMB Placements 2019 was Rs 24.50 lakh per annum, which last year was Rs 12.91 lakh per annum. The average salary too increased to Rs 14.31 lakh per annum which was Rs 12.91 lakh per annum last year. The median salary offered this year was Rs 14.16 lakh per annum, which was Rs 12.76 last year.

XIMB Placements 2019 VS 2018

In 2019, a total of 350 students have participated in XIMB Placements. All the students were placed successfully in various sectors with different job roles. The highest number of recruitments were made in Consulting (29%) followed by Systems (28%) and Marketing (21%). The number of new recruiters this year has gone down to 54 which last year was 56.

In XIMB Placements 2018, a total of 484 students had participated. The institute had recorded 100% placements. Students were placed in verticals like Marketing, Operations, IT/ITES and BFSI. Total 158 companies had participated in the placements. Consulting was the top recruiting sector.
