IIM Calcutta Final Placements 2023 was conducted in January and February. The institute witnessed a sharp rise in highest salary offer which was INR I.15 crore per annum. The average salary offer at IIM Calcutta placements 2023 stood at INR 35 lakh per annum.
IIM Calcutta Placements 2023 for MBA recorded 100 per cent placement with highest domestic salary offer of INR 1.15 crore per annum and average salary of INR 35.07 lakh per annum.
In the IIM Calcutta placement process of 2021-23 MBA batch 465 students were placed at top companies. The institute followed a cluster-based system for job placements for its 58th batch where the participating companies were mapped to cohorts and their respective clusters. The recruitment was done in three clusters. A total of 570 offers were made by reputed national and international organisations who visited the IIM Calcutta campus for placements.
The institute witnessed 2.5 per cent Year on Year increase in the average salary and 8.6 per cent Year on Year increase in the median salary. The top 5 percentile got offers for about INR 82.15 lakh per annum whereas to 10 percentile got offers

In the first cluster 266 offers were rolled out by top IB and PE firms, including Avendus Capital, Citi Bank, Deutsche Bank, HSBC, Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley, Standard Chartered. Accenture Strategy, Bain & Co., Boston Consulting Group, Ernst and Young, Mastercard and McKinsey & Co. were amongst the top recruiters in the Consulting cohorts. In the second cluster, about 253 offers were made by recruiters including Aditya Birla Group, Adobe, Amazon, Arteria, Capital One, DTDC, Google, Hindustan Unilever, Media.Net, Microsoft, Nestle, Proctor & Gamble, Tata Administrative Services, Salesforce, and Samsung.
