Q:   What is the eligibility criteria for PGDM course at SP Jain?
A: 

The minimum eligibility requirement for PGDM is graduation. Aspirants must hold the documents proving their eligibility for verification at later stages of admission. Below is detailed eligibility for SPJIMR PGDM programme:

  • Candidates need to complete graduation with at least 50% aggregate for both PGDM courses.
  • Final year graduation students can also apply.
  • Aspirants must hold a minimum of five-year relevant work experience for PGDM in Business Management programme.
Q:   Who is eligible for Global Management Programme at SPJIMR?
A: 

Aspirants must hold a bachelor's degree with a minimum of 55% marks or an equivalent CGPA in any discipline from a recognised university to apply for Global Management Programme at SPJIMR. Candidates can also submit a valid GMAT/ CAT/ XAT/ NMAT/ GRE score. Both freshers and experienced are eligible to apply for this course. 

Q:   What is the CAT cutoff for SPJIMR 2024?

SP Jain Institute of Management and Research has not released the official cutoff. Based on previous year trends, CAT cutoff for 2024 stood somewhere around 85 percentile for the General (All India) category students.

SPJIMR Selection Criteria

Apart from CAT/XAT or GMAT scores, candidate’s academic profile is also evaluated for selection. The following factors are evaluated for admission to SPJIMR:

  • Academic background – Good and consistent scores in 10th grade, 12th grade and every year of graduation.
  • Work experience – Relevance of work experience for preferred MBA specialization.

Q:   Which entrance exam is required for PGDM at SP Jain Institute of Management and Research?

There are two entrance exam, the CAT or the XAT that is accecpted by the university for admission to PGDM courses. Students need to appear for one of the two. To view the SPJIMR Cutoff 2024 and other years, i.e., 2023 and 2022, refer to the table provided below:

Q:   What is the eligibility for FPM at SP Jain?
A: 

Candidates must pass master's degree or a Post Graduate Diploma in Management or an equivalent qualification with at least 60% aggregate or a bachelor's degree in Engineering/Technology/Architecture/Pharmacy/Medicine or equivalent with at least 60% marks to apply for FPM. Other professional qualifications such as CA/ICWA/CS with a Bachelor's degree and at least 55% marks are also considered for FPM programme. Aspirants must hold the documents proving their eligibility for verification at the time of admission. Besides, candidates must also pass a Research Aptitude Test or have a valid score in GATE, CAT, UGC-JRF, etc. for admission to FPM programme. 

Q:   Who is eligible to apply for CGPE at SPJIMR?
A: 

Aspirants who have completed UG degree or are a fresh graduate from any education stream enrolled in any college and are comfortable with English can apply for Graduate Certificte Programme in Entrepreneurship (CGPE) at SPJIMR. It is suggested that aspirants must have completed a minimum of one semester or six months in an UG college to be eligible for GCPE programme.

SPJIMR cut offs: MBA Admission Process

SPJIMR admission process includes filling up of the PGP application form. The SPJIMR application window opens in September and closes in November ( a day before CAT exam). CAT aspirants have to apply to the institute website within the deadline. Once the CAT result is announced, registered candidates have to fill the PI shortlist form, if they meet the SP Jain CAT cut off. Those selected for PI are invited for the same via email. Candidates who clear the PI round are shortlisted for final evaluation. Admission is offered to candidates who meet all the admission parameters – CAT cut off, high academic score, relevant work experience, ECA experience, interview performance.
