My internship project facilitated a deeper knowledge of one of the aspects of financial analysis viz. Technical Analysis. This will help me to analyze the stock price movement in the financial market and to predict future prices, says Suaiba.

I am doing MBA from Guru Ghasidas Vishwavidyalaya, Bilaspur (C.G.). We have the provision of completing two projects in our course curriculum - Minor and Major project. The Minor project should be completed after the 2nd semester during the summer holidays and hence it is named as Summer Internship Program (SIP). It lasts for 45 days. In this, no guide is allotted to us. We just have to make the project based on the training we got during our internship. The Major project should be completed in the 4th semester. We are allotted a guide to help us in completing this project. Guides can only be Ph. D holders or a permanent faculty member of our department. I have completed my 45 days internship from Karvy Stock Broking, Ltd., Bilaspur (C.G.). The topic for my minor project was “Technical Analysis of some selected automobile companies”. This project has facilitated me to have a deeper knowledge of one of the aspects of financial analysis viz. Technical Analysis. This will help me to analyze the stock price movement in the financial market and to predict future prices.

Recently, I went to the campus fair at C.V. Raman University, Kota, and Bilaspur (C.G.). It was an open campus placement opportunity for the students. Nearly, top 20 companies came there for recruiting the students. Amongst them, the top companies were Wipro and Just Dial also. I appeared for the Group Discussion (GD) at Wipro but was not selected for Personal Interview (PI). After that, I appeared for a personal interview round of another company. It will not be appropriate to mention the name here. I was selected for the next round which was an online test. After appearing for the online test, I failed with just 2 marks. But the HR representative selected me for the final round which was talking to the senior HR manager on a video call. During this process, I was asked by the HR representative not to appear for any other company. The final round was about to take place at 7 in the evening and everyone in the college started leaving. We requested the Training and Placement Officer (TPO) to postpone the further process till the next day. He requested the HR representative but he convinced the TPO to get the conveyance facility for us. We were three girls and 2 boys. After the final round, 2 girls and 2 boys were selected and I was one of them. But after that, we came to know about the package and it was Rs. 2 Lakh and the place was Gurgaon. We felt that it was not appropriate for a place like this. I just learned a lesson:

“Not to take a single step until the result was known to me”
