The placement session at Shri Dharmasthala Manjunatheshwara Institute for Management Development (SDMIMD), Mysore for the year 2019 concluded in the month of December. The placement process at Shri Dharmasthala Manjunatheshwara Institute for Management Development (SDMIMD) is managed by a team of Student Placement Committee led by the Placement Coordinator and backed by the Faculty Placement Committee headed by the Faculty Chairperson.

The student committee is responsible for training the students for the placement drives. Intensive training is offered through mock Group Discussions based on current affairs and other relevant contemporary topics. Moreover, the faculty, alumni and external trainers also conduct mock personal interviews to help the students prepare for the interviews. The students also voluntarily take up certifications and short-term courses from leading organizations to get a competitive edge at the time of placements.

The institute takes pride in consistently achieving 100% Placements over the years. Some of the leading recruiters vising the institute include Deloitte, TCS, Infosys, Ernst & Young, Ujjivan Small Finance Bank, Oracle, Mindtree, Morgan Stanley, Moody's Analytics, Marico, L’Oréal, OYO, TTK Prestige, Federal Bank, ICICI Bank and many more.

For the current batch, placements are underway and will be over by December 2019. Till December 11, 2019, about 75 per cent of the batch has been placed with an average CTC close to Rs 8 Lakh.
