By: Abdullah Salman M
Soon after TANCET, you may want to start looking out for the best B-Schools that will take your expected score i.e. normalised cutoff score.
TANCET 2020 is scheduled for February 29 this year for the management aspirants trying to get admission in MBA institutes of Tamil Nadu state. Candidates appearing for the upcoming TANCET 2020 exam are advised to carefully read the TANCET eligibility criteria before getting registered. You could find a complete overview of the regulation, education qualification and the number of attempts a student could undergo. Soon after TANCET, you may want to start looking out for the best B-Schools that will take your expected score i.e. normalised cutoff score.
Soon after the exam, I had started sorting out the best colleges that would take TANCET from various educational platforms such as Shiksha.com. I was looking for their cuttoff, placement records, ranking and reviews from students and other experts.
Based on my performance I was sure that I would be getting Thiagarajar School of Management, Madurai (TSM). Hence, I was going through the TSM website and their admission process through TANCET and especially fee structure. I also started preparing for my documents required for MBA counselling under TANCET.
TANCET Result: Important Points
TANCET mark sheet can be downloaded from the website by the candidates within 10 days from the date of publication of results of the test. The normalised score sheet will also be provided. You can also download your TANCET 2019 scorecard from TANCET website by login together with your E-Mail ID and Password.
You need to spend a generously huge amount of time in getting info on top B-schools about their recent last five-year placement records, faculty profiles, fee structure, curriculum as per industry standards, reputation and diverse culture of the culture even though you have ranking available online.
Some of the highest colleges accepting TANCET MBA score are:
- Anna University
- Thiagarajar School of Management
- PSG Institute of Management - PSGIM
- Kumaraguru College of Technology - KCT
- Easwari Engineering College (EEC Avadi)
- KEC - Kongu Engineering College
- KV Institute of Management and Information Studies (KVIMIS)
- Mepco Schlenk Engineering Collegei
- M.O.P. Vaishnav College for Women
- Saveetha Engineering College
It is also important to prepare for the Group Discussion and Personal Interview phase. If you crack TANCET and you get your expected dream college, then you don’t want to get stuck during the GDPI round.
Keep checking on for the results on Annauniv.edu website or TANCET website for more information. Once the results are announced you would want to the counselling date. If you get the first or second-day slot then you've got a high chance of getting top 10 B-Schools under TANCET.
Note:
You must have all the Original Marksheets from SSLC, HSC/Diploma, Community Certificate, UG certificates, Hall ticket, etc., before appearing for counselling.
