IIM Raipur offers top MBA programs to aspirants. Thousands apply for the CAT exam each year, but only a select few are accepted into the IIMs. Management and business abilities are taught in MBA programs. Management in any organisation, whether private, public or owned by the public sector, can benefit greatly from management teachings. The institute previously offered a PGP (Postgraduate Program in Management) but modified it to an MBA to conform to international norms before 2021. The PGP is a residential program for two years. IIM Raipur offers a general management degree, so first-year students have the opportunity to investigate every facet of management before settling on a professional path. IIM Raipur is placed 14th in the NIRF Ranking 2022.

This program only has a very small number of seats available, and those numbers may change every academic year. Approximately 335 students are enrolled in the class of 2022, which is an annual trend.

Eligibility and Criteria

Candidates must hold a bachelor's degree in any subject and pass the CAT exam with an overall percentile cut-off and sectional cut-offs in order to be considered for the domestic student quota. A personal interview is scheduled if the candidate has met the requirements (PI). The removal of the GD component in view of the pandemic from the selection criteria has increased the weight of PI. When determining the final merit list, other considerations are taken into account, including:

International students must take the GMAT instead of the CAT. The candidate must have successfully completed the GMAT within four years (till March 31) in order to be considered for admission into the academic year course. The remaining steps are the same.

Fees

Indian students must pay the college's predetermined tuition rates, which vary yearly. For class 2022, the estimated tuition cost is INR 17.50 L plus a security deposit; a 10 per cent tuition fee increase is subject to management approval. The estimated USD 35,000 tuition fees for overseas students, plus a security deposit, are subject to annual inflation and exchange rate adjustments.

Placements/ Professional Growth

Students in the field of management have many employment alternatives. For instance, according to the Placement Committee of Raipur's LinkedIn page, the maximum salary for the class accepted in 2020 was approximately INR 42 LPA, with the average package being around INR 17.73 LPA. Students can also gladly participate in industrial projects and internships to enhance their CV for practical industry experience as well as to polish their abilities.

Executive Fellow Program in Management (EPFM)

The Executive Fellow Program at IIM Raipur seeks to admit students who have an impressive academic background, high levels of drive and discipline, and the potential to become brilliant researchers on an international level.
