MBA in Pharmaceutical Management - Batch of 2019

Overall good in terms of package but dissatisfied with new faculty members.
Placements: Around 80% of students were placed in 2019 batch. The highest package was 8.5 Lacs and the lowest was 2.4 Lacs and the average was around 3.6 Lacs. Top recruiting companies were Roche & Cadilla. Top roles were Product Management and Marketing Executive. 100% of students from our college got an internship at good companies.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi, library and infrastructure are quite good and one will not feel any negative points on these all. Apart from infrastructure, there are 5 hostels for students, separate for boys and girls. Food quality is also good in the mess. There are different kind of sports held in the college campus with a good amount of prize for the winners.
Faculty: In terms of faculty members, there is no match for Jamia Hamdard all the senior faculty members are helpful and qualified. But some of the new faculty members are not matching the standard of Jamia Hamdard. These new faculty members indulge into politics inside campus against others. Yes, the course makes us ready for industry in every aspect.
Other: I did this because good growth opportunities after completion of MBA are there. I found the best thing about this course that very few colleges are offering this course and this makes this course unique. On part of politics, personal grudge of faculty members against students would make it better. Yes fests and other events happen frequently in the campus.

Satisfied with the teaching staff and Other members of teaching committee, Atmosphere is really good
Placements: Batch 2012-2018 About 70% students are placed in multinational pharma companies like j&j, cipla, gsk, astra zenica, eli lily, mylan etc. Home grown companies are also came forward to recruit students for internship as well as placements like mankind, Tamil pharmaceutics, g healthcare, remedo etc. But the placements cell is not working as it want to work, mostly placements are being managed by either students or class teachers.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is good but somewhat lacks in their management, there are fans instead of AC vents, heat emitting bulbs are used in place of bright led, at least jamia should works on their AC matter you cannot get proper food items, there is no facility for lunch or good quality food, students have no more option to order via nearby restaurants or food parlours. Classes are being subtituted in smart so called classes but have so much restrictions. And yes there are security cameras in building but whenever there is need of use they just make reasons for not taking any actions ( my belongings worth ?12000 were missing from the main areas where cameras were working but till today they haven't took any action). .
Faculty: Most of the teachers are pertty helpful and knowledgeable. But the method of teaching is quite traditional. Illustration of charts and other methods are helpful for students to grasp the depth of core field. Presentation method build confidence in students, Quiz, Workshops etc. Are so beneficial for students.
Other: Events, Quiz competitions, Conferences, are so delightful for students.

Fully satisfied with the faculty and fee. Good placement. Jamia hamdard must be a choice.
Placements: Placement of pharmaceuticals is quite good but big companies like gsk johnson cipla and Astra zeneca have recruited from our campus and startup companies of medical app and devices also come to recruit for good profiles. And yup teachers understand your mind and they refer you for several profiles matching your skills set and they also help in getting internship as well. You can talk about any issue they are always ready to help out.
Infrastructure: Class room are well furnished. Campus is full of tree and very good library and lecture theaters. We have a seperate football ground cricket ground badminton court and basketball court and Auditorium. And we also have multiple canteens banks atm and seperate hostel for NRI and indian students as well. Quality of food in hostel is quite good and hostel rooms are spacious and well furnished. Yup only issue I have is they don't provide full AC campus.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful they are highly qualified and full of knowledge. They are always ready to help their students no matter what. Teachers have contacts in industries hospitals and All. They call many guest speakers from good companies. They conduct many national and international conferences as well. Course curriculum is very useful.
Other: Many big events are conducted here like -TedX and jashn e adan. Campus crowd is mixed with indian and NRI students, they also offer many schlorships as well and many fest and sports meet are also conducted here.

Overall, campus is good in infrastructure. The food facilities are average, and excellent teachers.
Placements: This year, lots of companies placed the candidates. Around, more than ten companies visited the campus for the placements of all of the student of depart of health and hospital management and the students of pharma management. Overall, it could be considered as average.
Infrastructure: All the required facilities are available in the department, but there is some problem. Everything can be achieved at the same place, or nothing is perfect. The students have to compromise with cold water. There are air-conditioned classes and vents for comfortable air, but they are just used as a showpiece.
Faculty: The faculty members are good, knowledgeable, disciplined, and frank too. There is a good environment to read, learn, and enjoy the college life. Those who want to learn a lot of sports, activities, games, and fun, this is a right place.

A positive environment and good teaching staff with low fee.
Placements: The placement cell here works hard to get each and everyone placed at a personal level without a student-teacher barrier. Everyone is free to ask a question to the authority and gets relevant answers about placement scenes. Many branded companies visit the campus.
Infrastructure: It is an old university with well-built buildings. Each department is isolated, and the campus is very green from inside. It is a Wi-Fi enabled campus. The medical facility is free for students. The food quality is good and cheap, at a personal level, I did not face any issue in this college, even if it is under Muslim minority.
Faculty: The faculty are supportive, and the course is vast. With this 2 years of the course, they also help us in building our personality, seeing everything with a practical perception and making you ready for corporate management. We also have many outdoor and indoor activities, with many successful talks and conferences from dignitaries and successful people.

Hamdard University, a great option for the pharma students
Placements: 1) The placement opportunity is for the deserving candidates. 2) The college management is not that responsible and a regular reminder for a training and placement officer is required. 3) Placements are from both Indian and UAE companies. 4) The average salary is ranging from 3 lakhs to 12lakhs per annum.
Infrastructure: It has a huge campus with lush green environment. There is a Humdard Hospital available for medical support and a huge library with a large book database. It is a Wi-Fi enabled campus with good classrooms, and the sports facilities are excellent with a huge sports complex and a ground. It has great hostel facilities for girls and NRI students, and the university is near the main road with easy accessibility to the metro and public transport.
Faculty: MBA in pharmaceutical is having a good scope for the pharmaceutical graduates. The university offers innovative teaching methods which include presentations ,and group discussions with semester exams based modules for easy management of all the subjects. The faculty team is good but most of them are visiting faculty members. The MBA pharma core subjects are marketing-based only.
Other: The toilets here are messy and unhygienic, and the drinking water supply is not good. The irresponsible management imposes rules like late fine and penalties here. There is a long walking distance to be covered, and mostly the canteen serves non-veg food The hostel facilities not available for boys (except for the NRI quota), and there is politics in the management.

Other: My college is nice with good environment. We have excellent central library facility with number of books. We have nice canteens for refreshments. Teaching is very good with great knowledgeable staff. Campus interviews are also not bad. It has nice gardens with decent infrastructure. There is a scholarship facility to the people who are under minority. We also have some motivational classes to encourage students to reach their goals.

Review of my experience in smbs Jamia Hamdard .
Placements: As I am 1st year student I can't provide that details but senior say almost all of them get placed. Student found internships on their own but college also help in that Most of placement happen in sales and marketing and few in consultancy and other fields.
Infrastructure: College have good facilities and classroom have Wi-Fi and air conditioning We as management student don't know about the lab. University have hostels facility which is quite expensive and food quality is okay Campus has hospital and sports complex for games.
Faculty: Teacher are helpful you want to learn Almost everyone has Ph.D. degree and some industry experience The course curriculum is designed according to pharmaceutical industry and it get updated every year Semester exam are not that tough if have attended the classes.
Other: As I have done b. pharma as my Bachelor degree and wanted to make career in management that's why I joined this course. Classes and quality of teaching staff can be improved. There almost no event as such in my department .
