TISSNET 2023 answer sheets has been released. Candidates will now be able to download their response sheet online. Shortlisted candidates can now fill the Detailed Application Form (DAF) at admissions.tiss.edu. TISSNET 2023 result has been declared. Candidates can now check the TISSNET 2023 cutoff. Earlier, TISSNET 2023 final answer key has been released. Candidates who appeared for the exam will be able to check their score online when released. Only candidates who will meet the cutoff criteria will be shortlisted for the Online Assessment rounds. TISSNET 20323 cutoff for General Awareness has been revised based on answer key review.

What is TISSNET?

Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Mumbai conducts TISS National Entrance Test (TISSNET). It is a university level entrance exam conducted for admission to MA programmes in the School of Management and Labour Studies. The PG programme in Human Resources Management and Labour Relations offered at TISS campuses is at par with the management programmes offered by top MBA colleges in India. The entrance exam is held in CBT mode and the exam paper comprises questions from English Proficiency, Mathematical Skills & Logical Reasoning, and General Awareness.

TISSNET 2023 Counselling

Shortlisted candidates can now fill the Detailed Application Form (DAF) at appln.tiss.edu. Candidates who have been shortlisted on the basis of the result will be able to appear for the TISSNET 2023 counselling process. Authorities will conduct the Online Assessment rounds- Extempore and Online Personal Interview (OPI).

TISSNET Eligibility Criteria 2023

The eligibility criteria for appearing in TISSNET 2023 exam has been given below:

Academic Qualification

  • The candidate must possess a bachelor's degree or equivalent from a recognised university
  • Candidates who will complete their final year of bachelor's degree/equivalent by June 2023, can also apply
  • Candidates pursuing a 3-year bachelor’s degree should have passed all the 4 semesters at the time of filling TISSNET application form whereas those pursuing a four-year bachelor's degree must have cleared all the subjects up to the sixth semester
  • Shortlisted candidates should produce original certificates and mark sheets on the date of the personal interview. Those who are in the final year of the degree programme are required to produce the mark sheets of all previous semesters

Age Limit

  • There is no defined age limit for appearing in TISSNET 2023 exam.

Work Experience

Candidates applying for Master of Arts in (Organisation Development, Change and Leadership) should have at least 2-year work experience in any field (after graduation).

FAQs Related to TISSNET 2023

Q. When can I download the TISSNET 2023 answer key?

Ans. TISSNET final answer key has been released online. Candidates could challenge the provisional answer key till March 8 (till 5pm). On the basis of the objections received the final answer key was released on March 21, 2023.

Q. How can I check my TISSNET result?

Ans. TISSNET 2023 result has been declared on March 23. Candidates can download the scorecard by entering the login credentials when released. The results will be announced at admissions.tiss.edu.

Q. Does TISS released sectional cutoff?

Ans. TISS released sectional cutoff for General Awareness section only. For the other sections candidates must score the minimum marks prescribed.  

Q: What kind of questions are asked in Personal Interview rounds?

A: TISS conducts PI round to evaluate candidates’ interpersonal skills, understanding of the programme and examine past academic records.

Q. When will be the TISSNET 2023 exam conducted?

Ans. TISSNET 2023 exam date has been announced. The exam was conducted on February 25, 2023 in CBT mode. Candidates had to report at the allotted exam centre.

Q. When will TISSNET 2023 registration commence?

Ans. TISSNET 2023 registration commenced from December 14, 2022. Candidates could fill the TISSNET 2023 application form in online mode. Candidates must ensure to fulfill the prescribed eligibility criteria before filling the application form.

Q. What is TISSNET 2023 registration last date?

Ans. The last date for TISSNET 2023 registration was February 01, 2023. The last date of registrations was extended from January 28 to February 01.

A: Only in case of genuine reasons, the plea to change the examination centre will be entertained. For the same, candidates should reach out to the examination authority or write to them at pgadmission@tiss.edu. 

Q: What is the fees for a Course at TISS?

A: The fee varies from one programme to another and candidates can refer to the information brochure available on the TISS website for details. 

Q: Does TISS provide accommodation to its candidates?

A: Yes, the facility is available at TISS but preference is given to candidates coming from outside Mumbai based on income criteria, for students belonging to SC/ST category.

Q: Is there any management / NRI / Ex-Serviceman quota available at TISS?

A: No, TISS does not provide admission based on management / NRI / Ex-Serviceman quota. 

Q: When will the final list of shortlisted candidates be announced?

A: The merit list is likely to be announced in the third week of June 2023.

Q: How is the score aggregated for final selection?

A: The scores for TISSNET, online assessment and OPI will be aggregated in the ratio of 50:20:30 for final selection.

Q. Does TISS offer admission to MBA programme through TISSNET?

Ans. TISS offers MA in HRM & LR which is equivalent to MBA programme offered by other management institutes. Candidates can appear for the selection process for admission to MBA programme of TISS by filling the TISSNET application form.
