NTRUHS has released the seat allotment list of AP NEET Counselling 2026 round 1 for CQ candidates. The seats have been allotted based on the choices filled by the candidates and the ranks obtained by them in the state merit list. Selected candidates have to report to the allotted institute to confirm their admission. The vacant seats will be carried forward to the next round. 

The AP NEET Counselling registration 2026 window has been reopened. To participate in the counselling of AP NEET 2026, eligible candidates need to register on the official website of NTRUHS. The process for Andhra Pradesh NEET Counselling Registration 2026 is given below:

• Go to the Andhra Pradesh NEET UG counselling official website or directly click here
• Click on 'Online Registration'
• Enter the following details:
  • NEET 2026 roll number
  • NEET 2026 rank
  • Date of birth
  • Mobile number
• Enter the security code and select 'Validate'.
• The registration is now complete. Note down the registration number for future reference.
• Login using NEET 2026 roll number and AP NEET 2026 registration number
• Complete the application form by filling in all the details
• Pay the application fee
• Take a printout of the submitted application form  

Earlier, the AP NEET registration window was active till August 12, 2026, up to 9.00 pm. Moreover, candidates could register from August 13 to 14 and from August 18 to 19, 2026, with a late fee of INR 20,000.

The AP NEET 2026 web options or choice filling window allows candidates to choose their desired course/college. To register the choices online, candidates have to log in with their registration credentials on the official website of NTRUHS. They have to choose their desired course/college from the list provided or the seat matrix. All candidates who are included in the AP NEET merit list are eligible to exercise web options through online.

According to NTRUHS, male candidates can enter 36 and female candidates can enter 37 seat choices.

The counselling authority released the AP NEET final merit list 2026 on August 29, 2026. The list includes details of candidates who qualified the NEET 2026 exam and can now participate in AP NEET UG Counselling. The state merit list includes the names of only those candidates whose documents were verified successfully. This merit list will be used for seat allotment in AP NEET counselling 2026.

Candidates should ensure that they fulfil all the required AP NEET eligibility criteria mentioned below before registering or applying for the Andhra Pradesh NEET counselling 2026:

• Candidates must have qualified the NEET 2026
• The candidate must be a citizen of India. PIO/OCI candidates can also apply for AP NEET 2026 counselling.
• The candidate must have passed Class 12 or equivalent from a recognised board/institute. Also, the core subjects in this qualifying examination should be Biology, Chemistry, English and Physics.
• Candidates must be of minimum 17 years of age as of the last day of the year. 

Local and Non-local candidates

Those who fall under the local candidates' category can apply for the 15 per cent unreserved seats and the 85 per cent reserved seats. In contrast, those under the non-local category can apply for the 15 per cent unreserved seats only.

Local Areas:

• For admission to the Andhra University: Srikakulam, Vizianagaram, Visakhapatnam, East Godavari, West Godavari, Krishna, Guntur and Prakasam
• For admission to the Osmania University: Adilabad, Hyderabad, Rangareddy, Karimnagar, Khammam, Mahaboobnagar, Medak, Nalgonda, Nizamabad and Warangal
• For admission to the Sri Venkateswara University: Anantapur, Kadapa, Kurnool, Chittoor and Nellore

Local Category:

Candidates applying for Andhra Pradesh NEET counselling 2026 as local candidates must meet the following criteria concerning the local area.

1. Applicants must have studied for a period of four years consecutively in that area: the last year being the year of the qualifying examination.

2. Applicants must have resided in that area for four consecutive years immediately preceding the date of commencement of the qualifying examination.

3. Applicants must have resided in that area for four consecutive years immediately preceding the date of commencement of the qualifying examination.

4. Applicants possess a Local status certificate issued by MRO.
