The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the results and cutoff for Re NEET UG 2026 exam. The NEET cutoff 2026 has been published category-wise for General, OBC, SC, ST, PwD and EWS. The NTA has specified category-wise NEET qualifying percentiles as well, such as 50th percentile for General category and 40th percentile for OBC, SC and ST categories. NEET 2026 Cutoff: Qualifying Percentile

NEET Qualifying Percentile 2026 is the minimum percentile that candidates need to be eligible for counselling process. It remains the same every year, that is, for the general category, the minimum qualifying percentile is 50th percentile, while for the reserved categories, it is 40th percentile. A percentile refers to the comparison between the score of one candidate vis-a-vis the other test takers. It is the percentage of scores that a particular score surpassed. NTA has stated the formula to calculate the NEET percentile, which is given below:

100 multiplied by the Number of candidates with their raw score equal to/ less than the candidate divided by the Total number of candidates who appeared for NEET.
