GPAT 2026 exam dates were released on December 22, 2025. According to notice released on website, GPAT exam 2026 will be conducted on March 7, 2026. The GPAT application form window started on December 23, 2025 (5 PM). Students are given 20 days to fill out the form. The GPAT application form can be filled in online mode only. The GPAT 2026 registration last date was January 12, 2026By knowing the GPAT exam dates in advance, applicants can develop a strategy to get admission through the exam.

The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) is the exam-conducting body of GPAT. After the registration is over, NBEMS will release the GPAT Admit Card on March 2, 2026. Applicants will be able to download the hall ticket of GPAT 2026 by entering the login credentials, which are the user ID and password. Once the exam is over, NBE will declare GPAT result on April 7, 2026

Insights of GPAT Dates 2026

GPAT 2026 Registration Dates were released. The GPAT application form was released online only on the website on December 23, 2025. The GPAT exam date 2026 application form can be filled out in online mode only. No new GPAT registrations will be accepted after the application window is closed. Once the application process concludes, NBEMS will open the GPAT application correction window. 

On the GPAT exam day, candidates have to visit the GPAT test centres to appear for the online/computer-based exam. NBEMS will release the GPAT provisional answer key after the exam. The final answer key will be released online along with the GPAT result on the official website, gpat.NBEMS.nic.in. The last event in the schedule was the declaration of the GPAT result. 

NBEMS will not conduct the counselling for MPharma admissions. Candidates will have to apply individually to participate in the counselling process of different colleges. Admission to the top MPharma colleges of India is generally granted through counselling, which includes an interview and overall performance in the entrance exam.

Who is Eligible to apply for GPAT 2026?

Students should cross-check their GPAT 2026 eligibility before applying. if any student is found ineligible, then their candidature will be dismissed.  Applicants can find below mentioned GPAT eligibility criteria:

  • He/She must be an Indian national.
  • The candidate should have a Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy (pharmacy), which is a four-year course after class 12.
  • Students who are in their final year of graduation can also apply.
  • Applicants of any age can appear.
  • Candidates having a B.Tech (Pharmaceutical and fine chemical technology) or Equivalent degree are not eligible.

Q:   In case I fail to appear for the GPAT exam, will the GPAT application fee get refunded?
A: 

The GPAT application fee is non-refundable. Once the application form is submitted at the website, no refund will be given to the candidates by the exam conducting body. The fee can be submitted only online through Net Banking, Credit Card, Debit Card or UPI Services. Processing charges and GST as applicable are chargeable to the candidate.

The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) will release GPAT Admit Card on March 2, 2026. Students have to download GPAT hall ticket 2026 from the official website at natboard.edu.in. The GPAT admit card has not been released yet. It will be updated on page once it is out. Below is the step-by-step process for downloading the GPAT admit card: 

  • Go to GPAT website and select ‘Pharmacy’ from the main window screen
  • Now after that students need to click on 'Download GPAT admit card'
  • The admit card can be downloaded by entering the GPAT application number and password or date of birth
  • After that students need to click on the 'Sign In' button.

Students can access their GPAT admit cards which will be displayed on the screen. Now it is suggested to download the admit card and take at least 2 printouts of the same

Q:   When will the GPAT admit card release?

Q:   Will I need GPAT admit card at the time of admission?

At the time of admission to pharmacy colleges, Candidates may be asked to submit a photocopy copy of their GPAT 2026 admit card to the institute as a part of the document verification process. Therefore it is suggested that candidates should keep a copy of the GPAT admit card safe until the admission process is over. GPAT Exam TIme

Students who want to appear in GPAT exam must know duration, exam time and reporting time. By knowing these details applicants will be able to appear in GPAT exam on time. The GPAT 2026 exam will be conducted for three hours. It will be conducted between 9 AM to 12 PM. Students need to reach exam centre before 8:30. After this, authorities will close doors, and no one will be allowed to enter the premises.

Q:   Can I choose the exam centre for the GPAT exam?
A: 

Yes. Candidates can select the GPAT test centre at the time of registration. Three choices will be given to choose the test centre city. The entrance exam will be held in 110 exam cities in India. Candidates can choose any three preferred exam cities as per their convenience and proximity to their hometown.

Q:   Can I show the GPAT admit card at the exam centre from my phone?
A: 
No. It is mandatory for a candidate to have a hard copy of their admit card and carry it to the exam centre. No electronic devices are allowed while appearing for the exam. It is mentioned in the guidelines of NTA that the GPAT admit card hard copy is mandatory to be presented at the time of appearing in the exam. The hard copy/print out of the GPAT admit card is the only valid proof of identification and verification which is acceptable at the GPAT test centre. Candidates failing to produce the GPAT admit card at the test centre in hard copy format will not be allowed to centre the test centre.

GPAT 2026 Result Dates

The NBEMS releases GPAT 2026 results on the official website at natboard.edu.in. The authorities will mention the results in a PDF document, which will comprise the details of successfully qualified applicants. The authorities have provided the actual GPAT result release dates and according to it result will be out on April 7, 2026. Normally, authorities provide GPAT result within one month after the conclusion of the exam.
