GPAT Application Form 2026: The NBEMS activated the GPAT final edit window on February 17, 2026. Candidates could change the photo, signature and thumb impression till February 19, 2026. This was the last time that candidates could use the GPAT application correction 2026 facility. To modify the GPAT application form 2026, students needed to visit the website natboard.edu.in. All the students who have filled application form and made any mistakes in form could edit their details. Earlier, the correction window was available from February 6 to 9, 2026. It was a pre-final selective edit window during which candidates could edit the incorrect images on their applications.

The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences initially enabled GPAT form correction 2026 window from January 16 to 19, 2026. During this window, authorities provided an opportunity to make corrections for deficiencies related to the uploaded images (photograph, signature, thumb impression).

How to Make Corrections in GPAT 2026 Application Form?

The GPAT final form correction window was available online. Students could make corrections online. Use the process given below to make corrections in GPAT application form 2026:

  • Visit the official website of GPAT.

  • Click on the tab application link.

  • Login using the Application Number, Password, and Security Pin.
  • Make necessary corrections and changes.

Q:   What is the size of the Scanned passport-sized photograph that needs to be uploaded at the time of filling the GPAT application form?
A: 

Candidates will have to upload Scanned passport-sized photograph and Scanned signature of size between 10 kb to 200 kb in JPG or JPEG format and size between 4 kb to 30 kb in JPG or JPEG format respectively at the time of filling the GPAT 2026 application form. The GPAT application correction facility allows candidates to make amends to this section also.

Q:   Can I directly fill out the GPAT application form?
A: 

No, the student cannot fill out the GPAT 2026 application form directly without registering yourself on the NBEMS GPAT portal. GPAT 2026 registration is mandatory to apply for the national-level entrance exam. GPAT registration started on December 23, 2025. The application window required candidates to provide personal and academic details as well. 

Q:   Can I apply for the GPAT exam if I am pursing Bachelor's Degree BPharma in final year?
A: 

Yes, candidates appearing in the final year of Bachelor's Degree BPharma are eligible to appear for the GPAT 2026 exam. Along with checking the educational qualification one must ensure that they fulfill the GPAT eligibility criteria 2026 age wise also. It is recommended to check eligibility details for GPAT before filling the form.

How to do GPAT Registration 2026?

Candidates could fill the GPAT 2026 application form using the process shared below-

  • Go to website -natboard.edu.in
  • Students need to click on New Registration
  • Enter details such as Email ID, mobile number, and create a password
  • Log in using the GPAT application number and password and fill out the application form
  • Upload a scanned copy of a passport-sized photograph and signature
  • Make the application fees through (Net banking/ credit card/ debit card/ e-challan) options.

Q:   In case I fail to appear for the GPAT exam, will the GPAT application fee get refunded?
A: 

The GPAT application fee is non-refundable. Once the application form is submitted at the website, no refund will be given to the candidates by the exam conducting body. The fee can be submitted only online through Net Banking, Credit Card, Debit Card or UPI Services. Processing charges and GST as applicable are chargeable to the candidate.

Q:   What type of details do I have to enter while filling out the GPAT application form?
A: 

Initially, the candidate has to provide a registered Email Id and Mobile No. to generate GPAT Application Number. Then the applicants will have to enter their personal details such as name, father's name, address, contact number, email address and academic details of class 10 and class 12 marks along with graduation marks and certificates. The information provided must be true and correct. Any request for a change in these particulars after the correction period will not be entertained by the NBEMS under any circumstances.

The following table shows the category-wise application fee for GPAT 2026. The application fee for the present year is notified by the authorities on website. It was increased in comparison to the previous year exam.

Q:   Can I pay the GPAT application fee by demand draft?
A: 

No. The application fee can only be paid through online mode. You can pay the application fee through the following methods available online such as: 1. Credit Card 2. Debit Card 3. Internet Banking 4. UPI 5. Paytm It was recommended by NTA-GPAT to make the application fee payment using Canara/ICICI Bank through Net Banking/Debit Card/Credit Card/UPI and keep proof of fee paid. Candidates are informed that the 'Confirmation Page' of the online Application Form will be generated only after successful payment by the Candidate. In case the Confirmation Page is not generated after payment of fee, then the candidate should approach the concerned Bank/Payment Gateway.

Q:   What is the GPAT application fee?
A: 

NBE shared category-wise GPAT application fee through the official notification at official website.

The GPAT application fee for General/OBC/EWS category is INR 3500. For candidates belonging to SC/ST/PWD/TRANSGENDER the GPAT application fee is INR 2500. A candidates will have to pay applicable service/processing charges & GST over and above the examination fee via concerned Bank/ Payment Gateway Integrator.

Documents Required For GPAT Registration 2026

The list of important documents required for GPAT 2026 registration process is important to know. It comprised academic qualification details. Along with it passport size photograph (between 10 to 200 kb) and a signature (between 4 to 30 kb). Besides this a valid Email ID and Mobile number are needed. The payment should be made through Debit card / Credit card / Net banking. The images should be in JPG/JPEG format.

Q:   I appeared for the GPAT exam last year. Can I again apply this year as well?
A: 

Yes, there is no restrictions on the number of attempts that a candidate can give to appear for the GPAT entrance exam. However, there is a lower age limit to appear for the exam. Candidates not less than 17 years of age can only apply for the GPAT exam. The GPAT 2026 application process is generally conducted for a period of 30 days. The GPAT 2026 registration process will be organised online at the official admission portal. It is mandatory to register for the exam in order to apply for the MPharma course.

If a candidate fails to complete all four steps mentioned above, their GPAT 2026 application form was considered incomplete. The application fee is non-refundable. Q:   How many institutes participate in GPAT exam?

The Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test (GPAT) is an annual all-India examination conducted by the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) to evaluate candidates for admission to Master's (M. Pharm) programmes in pharmacy.  The exam will be conducted in online/computer-based mode. A total of 800 pharmaceutical participating institutes are expected to participate in GPAT 2025. The participating institutes include prominent colleges, universities, and institutions that offer M.Pharm courses and are AICTE approved

Q:   Is GPAT an online or offline exam?
A: 

National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) conducts GPAT entrance exam in online mode. The MPharma entrance exam is organised at the designated test centers across several cities in India. On the day of the examination, each candidate will be allotted a computer terminal at the exam centre where they will have to input correct answers against the questions being asked in the exam. Candidates will be able to appear for the exam in two shifts: morning and forenoon.

Q:   Can I get a refund if I decide not to appear for the GPAT exam after registration?
A: 

No, Applicants who are planning to appear in GPAT exam must note that there will be no refund if the candidates who completed the registration and pay the application fees. Hence one must be very careful before filling the form and submit the fees while appearing in the exam. 

Q:   What is GPAT application form last date?
A: 

The NBEMS released the last date to fill the GPAT application form 2026 in the official notification of dates. According to it, the GPAT application form's last date was January 12, 2026 . Applicants could register and pay GPAT application form fees before the last date.  

Q:   Can I change my exam centre choice in GPAT application form after submitting the form?
A: 

Candidates need to contact the administrative authorities in such situations. However, it is not possible to change the GPAT exam centre once the choices are locked and entered. Even at the stage of GPAT application correction, candidates do not get the option to change the GPAT exam centre.

Q:   Can I make changes in the GPAT application form once it is submitted?
A: 

The exam-conducting body opened the application correction facility for GPAT 2026 aspirants, which allows them to make amends to the GPAT application form by providing the application number, password and security pin. This edit window dates are released yet. However, after the final submission, no further changes will be accepted. 

Q:   What will be the last date to apply for GPAT exam?
A: 

NBEMS announced the exam schedule for GPAT 2026 in the official notification. This year GPAT application form could be filled out for a period of 20 days. The last date to apply online for GPAT was January 12, 2026

Please note that a candidate can submit only one application form to apply for the exam. Multiple application form entries were not accepted.

Q:   Can I pay the GPAT application fee via cash?
A: 

The GPAT application fee will be paid through the bank e-challan in case the candidates opt for the cash payment option. For this, candidates are required to take the printout of challan format from the official website of GPAT. Later, visit the Bank and pay the required fee according to their category (SC/ST/General/OBC). Collect the Challan receipt and enter the challan number while filling the online application form. The GPAT application fee for General/OBC category was INR 2200. For candidates belonging to SC/ST/PWD/TRANSGENDER the GPAT application fee was INR 1100.
