Tamil Nadu NEET 2025 counselling round 3 registration dates have been extended. The authorities have extended the registration as the AIQ counselling process has been extended. The Directorate of Medical Education and Research (DMER), Chennai, have not mentioned the last date to fill TN NEET counselling 2025 form. All students eligible to appear in Tamil Nadu NEET counselling are advised to register to secure a seat in their desired college and course. Students can do the registration by visiting the website at tnmedicalselection.net. The TN NEET registration link 2025 is given below on the page. After the registration, the authorities will open a window for choice filling and locking. Only those applicants are eligible to register for the Tamil Nadu NEET 2025 counselling whose rank for the general quota is between 1 and 39853, and for the management quota, it is between 1 and 28279. The Tamil Nadu NEET counselling dates, for the upcoming schedule, have not been released so far, and they will be out in due course.

TN Medical Counselling 2025 Eligibility Criteria

The TN medical counselling for MBBS/BDS courses will be conducted based on NEET scores. To participate in the TN medical counselling 2025, a candidate must qualify for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET). TN Medical Counselling 2025 will be conducted for admission to MBBS/BDS degree courses offered by:

  • Tamil Nadu Government medical and dental colleges, including I.R.T. Medical College, Perundurai, Erode District
  • Government seats in self-financing medical colleges affiliated to Tamil Nadu Dr M.G.R. Medical University/Rajah Muthiah Medical and Dental colleges affiliated to Annamalai University, Chidambaram
  • ESIC Medical College
  • PGIMSR, K.K.Nagar, Chennai

TN NEET UG Eligibility Criteria 2025

Candidates must fulfil the below-mentioned TN NEET UG eligibility criteria 2025:

  • Candidates must be citizens of India
  • Overseas Citizens of India (OCI) registered under Section 7A of the Citizenship Act can also apply for Tamil Nadu NEET counselling 2025. OCI candidates, however, will be treated as General candidates and will not be eligible to claim reservations under any other category.
  • Candidates must qualify for the NEET 2025 exam
  • They must be a native of Tamil Nadu
  • A candidate who has passed Class 6  to Class 12 from any other state, but is a native of Tamil Nadu, must produce the following documents of their parents:
      • Birth certificate
      • Ration card
      • School leaving certificate/Class 10 passing certificate/Class 12 passing certificate/degree/diploma/professional course/no graduation certificate

TN Medical Counselling Process 2025

The admission process for the medical and dental colleges in Tamil Nadu state started with the TN NEET UG registration process. All the candidates who cleared NEET 2025 will have to register for the TN NEET counselling 2025. The next step will be submitting the choices for the desired course/college. Based on the preferences submitted online, seats will be allotted to deserving candidates. The steps of Tamil Nadu NEET counselling 2025 have been elaborated here. 

TN Medical Counselling 2025 Registration

To enrol for Tamil Nadu Medical counselling, it is mandatory to fill out the application form on the official website, tnmedicalselection.net. The application form for Tamil Nadu NEET counselling 2025 will be available online. A candidate must fill out the application form online and print. He/she must then courier a copy of the filled application form along with the required documents to the following address:

Unable to access the online application form?

The application form for Tamil Nadu NEET counselling 2025 will be filled out at an e-Seva Kendra. Candidates who are unable to access the online application form for Tamil Nadu NEET 2025 counselling are required to report to the nearest e-Seva Kendra along with all the necessary documents. He/she must be accompanied by a parent and should visit the e-Seva Kendra between 10 am to 5 pm, on a working day.

TN Medical Counselling 2025 Registration Fee

  • To complete the registration process and submit the application form for Tamil Nadu NEET counselling 2025, a candidate has to pay a non-refundable registration fee of INR 500 (all categories)
  • Special Category candidates (children of ex-servicemen, eminent sports persons and persons with benchmark disabilities) have to pay an additional amount of INR 100
  • The registration fee can be paid online or through a Demand Draft drawn in favour of “The Secretary, Selection Committee, Kilpauk, Chennai-10” payable at Chennai

TN Medical Counselling 2025 Counselling Schedule

DME will release the date sheet and cut-off for the first round of Tamil Nadu counselling 2025 on its official website. Candidates who qualified as per the NEET cut-off 2025 for MBBS in Tamil Nadu are required to report to the counselling venue on the designated date and time. Such candidates must download their call letters from the official website of DME. Apart from the call letter, candidates need to carry the documents listed below to the counselling venue.

Documents required during the TN Medical Counselling 2025

Here is the complete list of documents required for document verification at the time of counselling: 

  • NEET 2025 result/scorecard
  • NEET 2025 admit card
  • Class 10 marksheet
  • Class 11 mark sheet
  • Marksheet of Class 12 or equivalent
  • A bona fide certificate stating that the student has passed from Class 6 to Class 12 from a school in Tamil Nadu
  • A transfer certificate from the school last studied (or) a bonafide certificate should be produced from where the candidate is undergoing the course at present.
  • Nativity certificate (the candidate is a native of Tamil Nadu but has passed Class 6 to Class 12 from an institute outside Tamil Nadu)
  • Aadhar Card
  • Community Certificate (if applicable)
  • Ration card/Passport

Document of parents:

  • Transfer certificate/ SSLC/Class 10/Class 12 Mark Sheet /first graduate certificate/no graduate certificate

Tamil Nadu Medical Counselling 2025: Fee Structure

The fee structure of the college that a candidate desires to apply for plays a crucial role during the choice-filling process. The fee structure for self-financing medical and dental colleges is fixed by the Fee Committee, Government of Tamil Nadu. The tuition fee for the allotted candidates has to be paid using a demand draft drawn in favour of “The Secretary, Selection Committee, Directorate of Medical Education, Kilpauk, Chennai-10” payable at Chennai.
