CSEET October Exam 2026: Admit Card (SOON), Registration & Pattern

ICSI conduct CSEET examination for three hours per subject. Candidates have to attempt questions in given time. Candidates will not be given extra time under any condition. The question paper will be submitted once the duration is over. ICSI conducts the CSEET exam in offline mode. 

If a candidate fails in CSEET exam:

1. can reappear for the subsequent session and pay application fee for each round
2. must analyse their performance and focus on weak areas.
3. must know the period within which they want to clear the CSEET.

No, there will be no negative marking in CSEET exam. For every correct answer candidates will be given one or two marks for each question.

2. Legal Aptitude, Logical Reasoning, and Quantitative Aptitude
   • Subpart A- Legal Aptitude - 30 marks
   • Subpart B- Logical Reasoning- 20 marks
   • Subpart C- Quantitative Aptitude 20 marks
3. Economic and Business Environment
   • Subpart A- Economics- 25 marks
   • Subpart B- Business Environment- 25 marks
4. Current Affairs- 40 marks.

CSEET exam is conducted in offline mode. Candidates must ensure to follow the exam day guidelines for smooth conduct of the test. The prohibited items during the CSEET exam include:

• Study Material
• Handwritten or Printed Notes
• Electronics, including smartphones, earphones, calculators, digital watches, etc.

CSEET exam is conducted in remote proctored mode. The exam is not held at exam centres. Hence, ICSI has not updated or released the CSEET exam centres list. Candidates can take CSEET exam from their home.

Registered candidates can download their CSEET admit card only till their exam date.

To download CSEET admit card for upcoming session, candidates have to visit official website and click on the Admit Card link. Once the admit card login page opens, enter Application Number and click on 'Get Admit Card'. The CSEET admit card will appear on the screen.

ICSI CSEET admit card 2026 for upcoming session will be released at icsi.edu. Only candidates who register on or before last date will be able to download the admit card online. Candidates must show the CSEET admit card online, without which they will not be permitted to take the exam.

Company Secretary Executive Entrance Test is conducted four times a year. Candidates preparing for CS course will have to appear for CSEET to qualify for CS Executive programme of CS course. The admission process is as follows:

3. Downloading of CSEET admit card
4. Appear for the CSEET
5. Declaration of result
6. Registration for CS Executive Programme

CSEET is conducted three times in a year- February, June and October.

1. CSEET registration: The registrations for CSEET is open throughout the year.
   • October 16 to December 15- January session
   • December 16 to February 15 - June Session
   • February 16 to May 31 - October session
2. CSEET exam schedule
   • Saturday/Sunday in second or third Week of January
   • Saturday/Sunday in second or third Week of June
   • Saturday/Sunday in second or third Week of October

CSEET exam is conducted in remote proctored mode. The exam is not held at exam centres. Hence, ICSI has not updated or released the CSEET exam centres list. Candidates can take CSEET exam from their home.

Candidates willing to appear for the CS Executive Entrance Test CSEET must ensure they fulfill the prescribed eligibility criteria before filling the application form. Check below to know the CSEET eligibility criteria:

• Candidates applying for CSEET must not be less than 17 years of age as on the date of application. 
• Candidates must have complete class 12th or equivalent from a recognised board.
• Graduate/Post Graduate candidates who were eligible to seek registration directly to the Executive Programme will also have to qualify CSEET to become eligible for registration to the Executive Programme. 
• CSEET is mandatory for all category candidates for registration to the Executive Programme. Only candidates who fulfill the above criteria will be able to appear for the CSEET exam.

Once the CSEET application form is submitted along with the payment of application fee, candidates can edit or modify the information provided they will have to pay the fee for each change. Candidates are advised to fill the details carefully in the CSEET application form. Change in the Name, Photograph and Signature shall be a paid service as per the details given below: 1. Change of name- INR 200 2. Change in photograph- INR 100 3. Change in signature- INR 100 The change in the name of the student will be accepted only on receipt/submission of either of the following documents: 1. Gazette Notification 2. Publication in Newspaper for change of name along with an Affidavit 3. Copy of Marriage Certificate (in case of Female candidates after marriage) 4. Copy of PAN Card / Aadhaar Card / DIN supporting change of name.

CSEET total marks are 400 marks. The question is divided into four sections of 100 marks each:

• Business Communication
• Fundamentals of Accounting
• Economic and Business Environment
• Business Laws and Management

For every correct answer candidates will get one or two marks. There will be no negative marking.

ICSI CSEET exam will now be held in offline mode from June session onwards. Students will have to report at alloted exam centre on day of examination. The admit card for CSEET will be issued 10 days before the exam date.

CS Executive Entrance Test CSEET pass percentage refers the percentage of students who have cleared the CSEET exam for the particular session. ICSI releases the CSEET pass percentage for each session soon after the declaration of results. Earlier authorities released the CSEET January 2025 pass percentage soon after the declaration of results. The pass percentage for CSEET 2025 January session is 72.58%. 

CSEET 2026 results will be announced at icsi.edu. Candidates who appeared for the exam can check their scores online on the official website of ICSI. CSEET results are usually declared after 10 days of the examination. Candidates will be able to access their scorecard by entering the login credentials: Application number and Date of birth.

There are no prescribed number of attempts for CSEET. Candidates can appear for the CSEET exam in multiple attempts until qualified. The validity of the CSEET scorecard is one year. ICSI conducts CSEET examination three times in a year, i.e., February, June and October. Candidates can choose to appear for any of the three sessions. However, candidates must stay updated with the cut off dates of CSEET examination.

The qualifying marks for CSEET are:

1. The candidate need to score at least 40% in each paper/subject
2. Candidates have to obtain an aggregate of 50% marks in all papers combined.
