Under this scholarship programme eligible students will get support in the range of ₹15,000 to ₹20 lakh annually, depending on their course and level of education.

The State Bank of India (SBI) Foundation has introduced the Platinum Jubilee Asha Scholarship 2025-26, a new education support scheme that will benefit around 23,000 deserving students across the country.

Under programme eligible students will get support in the range of ₹15,000 to ₹20 lakh annually, depending on their course and level of education.

The scholarship will cover school students (Classes 9–12) as well as those pursuing undergraduate and postgraduate studies, including learners enrolled in IITs, IIMs, and other recognised universities in India or abroad.

For the 2025-26 academic year, the SBI Foundation has set aside over ₹90 crore for this scholarship programme. The aim is to help meritorious students continue their studies without financial stress.

As per the SBI notification, to be eligible applicants are needed have scored at least 75 percent marks or a 7.0 CGPA in their previous academic year. Their family income should also be below ₹3 lakh per annum for school students, ₹6 lakh for college level students.

Asha Scholarship's Application window will be open till November 15, 2025, and students can apply on its official website. They need to do online registration, document upload, and verification before final selection.

A total of 17,04,367 students registered for the exam, out of which 16,92,794 students appeared, and 14,96,307 students passed the CBSE 12th exam 2025.

The pass percentage of girls was 91.64 while that of boys was 85.70.

Q:   Can I get direct admission to BSEB Inter?
A:

Schools affiliated with the Bihar Board release application forms for students who want admission to the intermediate Board. Students who have passed Class 10 can fill up these forms for admission into Class 11. However, many schools also offer direct admission to their class 11. Students who fulfill the eligibility criteria will be required to fill out the admission form before the deadline. Based on marks obtained by the candidate in the class 10 exam and their eligibility, the schools offer admission.
