Delhi University secures 544th rank in World University Ranking 2020-21

In the ranking of 2018-19, the Delhi University was ranked 726, while in 2019-20 the university was ranked 608.

World University Ranking 2020-21: The University of Delhi (DU) secured 544^th rank in the World University Ranking 2020-21. According to the ranking list, the University has been ranked 3rd among the Indian Institutions. The rankings have been put together by the Center for World University Rankings. Overwhelmed by the achievement, the DU tweeted about the improved ranking. In the ranking of 2018-19, the university was ranked 726, while in 2019-20 the university was ranked 608.

Universities such as Indian Institute of Management  Ahmedabad at 415, Indian Institute of Science at 462, the University of Delhi at 544, Tata Institute of Fundamental Research at 550, Indian Institute of Technology Madras at 572, Indian Institute of Technology Delhi at 584, Indian Institute of Technology Bombay at 585, Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur at 697, Panjab University at 726 and Jawaharlal Nehru University at 790 are among the top 10 Indian universities included in the World University Ranking 2020-21.

Meanwhile, the list of global universities that secured the top five ranks includes Harvard University securing the first rank followed by Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Stanford University ranking second and third. The fourth and fifth place was secured by the University of Cambridge and the University of Oxford respectively
