The Chhattisgarh Professional Examination Board have announced the CG PPT 2025 exam date. The authorities will conduct CG PPT 2025 as a pen-and-paper-based test on May 1, 2025. Other details for the exam are yet to be announced. The authorities will release the online CG PPT 2025 application form soon on the official website, vyapam.cgstate.gov.in. Chhattisgarh Pre-Polytechnic Test commonly known as CG PPT is held annually to select candidates for admission into the Polytechnic courses offered by the participating Government and Private colleges of the state.
Eligibility for the CG PPT 2025 examination mandates that candidates must have completed the 10th standard from the Board of Secondary Education, Chhattisgarh, or an equivalent qualification from an accredited board, specifically one that includes Mathematics and Science. For candidates in the General category, a minimum score of 35% is required, while candidates from SC/ST/OBC/PwD categories are required to achieve only passing marks to qualify for the CG PPT 2025 examination. All candidates need to have passed both the Mathematics and Science subjects individually in the qualifying examination.
The CG PPT 2025 will be a pen-and-paper-based exam conducted at various centres. Candidates will have 3 hours to answer 150 multiple-choice questions covering topics in Science and Mathematics. Each correct answer will earn one mark, and there is no negative marking. The syllabus for the CG PPT will be based on the 10th-grade curriculum, with questions drawn from Mathematics and Science topics.

CG PPT exam centres have been released online. Candidates can access the list of cities where the exmaination will be held through the CG PPT exam centres online at vyapam.cgstate.gov.in. Through the list of cities, the candidates will have to select their preferred three exam cities and fill them out in the order of preference in the CG PPT application form.

During the exam, the candidates will have to select the correct answer for every question, out of the given options. The correct answer has to be marked in the CG PPT OMR sheet properly. No online tests will be conducted for CG PPT.
