AEEE 2024 Dates (Announced): Check Tentative Exam Date and Registration Date Here

Admission to BTech Programmes offered at Amrita School of Engineering is through and based on the rank scored in JEE Main and AEEE. 70% of the seats are allotted via AEEE scores and the rest of the 30% of seats are filled based on JEE Main ranks. A candidate can choose to apply either through AEEE or JEE Mains individually or even select both.

Admission via AEEE is given in BTech courses offered at Amrita University campuses at Amaravati, Amritapuri, Bengaluru, Chennai, and Coimbatore. Candidates can check the campuses that offer BTech specialisation they are interested in on the official website. Not all campuses will offer all the specialisation. For example the coimbotore campuse offer all specialisation except for Electronics & Computer Engineering. Similarly exceptions are applicable in other campuses too.

AEEE 2024 exam will be held in 2 phases. Phase 1 will be held in January and Phase 2 will be held in May 2024. The exact dates will be announced in due course. The online AEEE application form will start in October 2023. 

It is expected that the AEEE 2024 application form will be out in October 2023 tentively. Candidates are allowed to submit only one application form and more than one application i.e. multiple applications from a candidate may get rejected. Candidates' names and their parents' names in the application form must exactly be the same as registered in Class 12th/ equivalent qualifying Examination. Prefix/title such as Mr/Shri/Fr/Dr/Mrs/Smt/Col etc. should not be used.  The candidates are advised not to send the hard copy of the online application to the university. However, the candidates are advised to retain a hard copy of the application i.e. acknowledgement page for future reference or correspondence.

AEEE slot booking process is expected to start in January for phase 1 and in April 2024 for phase 2. The candidates who register for AEEE successfully are allowed to book slots for the exam. The slot booking process opens for a limited period of time and the candidates must book the slots as soon as possible as the slots are made available in the first come first serve basis. All applicants will receive intimation through SMS / Email to their registered mobile number/email id for the AEEE slot booking. After candidates have reserved their test date and time, the AEEE admit card with detailed instructions will be made available for download.

AEEE 2024 admit card will be available for download a few days the slot booking process is over. To download the AEEE admit card, candidates have to use their registered Email ID/Application Number and Date of Birth. Candidates must keep in mind that the admit card is not sent by post. One has to visit the official website, amrita.edu/admissions to access the link to download the admit card.

AEEE 2024 result will be announced a few days after the exam is over. The result of phase 1 and 2 will be out separately. AEEE result is announced on the official website. The result of AEEE is released separately for all phases. Candidates who appear for more than one phase must note that their best score out of all the phases is considered for admission.

 The AEEE Centralised Seat Allotment Process (CSAP) starts a few days after the phase 1 and phase 2 result is out. AEEE counselling is conducted by Amrita University and it is called Centralised Seat Allotment Process (CSAP). Candidates are required to submit their academic preferences by paying the allotted amount to participate in AEEE Counselling. All JEE Main candidates and AEEE qualified candidates desirous of joining Amrita will have to register for CSAP. AEEE CSAP seat allotment results will be announced after each round counselling process. Candidates can download their AEEE counselling seat allotment call letters from the official website in online mode. Candidates must download and take a printout of AEEE counselling letter and rank card to appear in the counselling rounds.
