The Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati has released the GATE 2026 official poster TODAY at gate2026.iitg.ac.in. The GOAPS portal 2026 has been created, and the GATE 2026 application form will be made available on August 25. GATE 2026 Poster OUT at gate2026.iitg.ac.in: IIT Guwahati has finally released the GATE MTech 2026 poster along with the question paper PDF on its official website.
The GOAPS 2026 portal - goaps.iitg.ac.in has been created and will be LIVE on August 25. The GATE poster 2026 carries information regarding the dates, eligibility criteria, and more. The GATE 2026 application form, with the regular form, will be available from August. The GATE 2026 exam will take place on February 7, 8, 14, and 15, 2026, in two shifts.

GATE 2026 examination dates
The IIT Guwahati will conduct the GATE 2026 exam on the scheduled dates. The exam will be conducted in two sessions on different dates. The GATE dates include registration dates, followed by exam and result dates. Applicants can check the GATE exam dates 2026 below -

The GATE 2026 application fees are different for female/SC/ST/PwD and general and international candidates. Candidates can check the GATE 2026 application fees (per paper below) -

GATE 2026 eligibility criteria and opportunities
A candidate who is currently studying in a third or higher year of any undergraduate program is eligible to appear in the GATE exam 2026. A qualified GATE score can be used for seeking admission and financial assistance to MTech/Doctoral programmes.
GATE scores can also be used by some colleges and institutes for admitting students without the MoE scholarship or assistantship. Many PSUs also accept GATE scores for recruitment.
