B.Tech. in Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence - Batch of 2029
5.0
It's a fantastic university with extraordinary curriculum.
Placements: I am from the 5th batch here at Plaksha, and its first batch passed out last year with the highest package of 50 LPA and the minimum of 17 LPA. Most of the students choose to go abroad with the help of the Global Engagement Office of Plaksha University, which offers admission to UPenn and many other foreign universities.
Infrastructure: Top-class infrastructure, hostels have AC and heaters. All places are cleaned at least 2–3 times a day. Labs are fully high-tech. Mess food is also great, with 4 meals, breakfast, lunch, snacks, and dinner. We have a water lab, bio lab, computer lab, a whole building for robotics, and one whole building for AI lab is under construction.
Faculty: The best thing about the curriculum is that they follow the American curriculum instead of Indian, which makes it even better. We have communication classes to get students ready for interviews. Semester exams are not too hard, almost every student passes, and the faculty is very supportive and helpful.
Other: It's a developing university, and it is improving year by year. So it is a fantastic university. More than 70 percent of students are on 25 to 100 percent scholarship, which makes it even more fantastic. We have clubs, sports, yoga, everything is here, and new things are being added every year.

B.Tech. in Data Science, Economics and Business - Batch of 2026
4.4
Good infrastructure and curriculum, professors are approachable and knowledgeable, hectic schedule.
Placements: Our senior batch has still not passed, but some of them got PPOs from Aakash Institute and Airtel Bharti. Our batch, DSEB students, are in the internship phase, and 9% of students got into BCG. Others are still exploring options like Data Scientist, Data Analyst, Finance Analyst, etc.
Infrastructure: We have Jefferies Finhub lab that is for collecting data and doing advanced finance projects. We have separate computer labs with a proper Wi-Fi system. Talking about the mess, it has a capacity of 300+ students, and on the ground floor, the general food made by the mess committee is served. On the first floor, there are provisions for buying and eating whatever you want. We have a stock shop for daily commodities and Kurkure chips, etc. We have North, where all varieties of North Indian food are served, and we have Arihant, which serves pizza, coffee, a variety of beverages, fast food, and South Cafe, which is for South Indian food. We have two blocks where classes are held. One is the Bharti Block, where we have two classrooms on the ground floor that can accommodate 300+ students. The total number of classrooms is 9, and we have a Physics Lab, Biology Lab, etc. In the Havells Block, talking about games, we have basketball, volleyball, badminton, football, and table tennis, with separate coaches. We organize intra-tournaments for each sport annually, and we have our sports fest, Eklavya, which is an inter-university fest.
Faculty: Professors are well-qualified, and most of the professors are from IIT or have teaching experience at IIM, BITSPILANI, etc. They are very approachable; in fact, every week, we have dedicated office hours to meet them, and if you want to go another way, you can mail and book an appointment. As the number of students is less, with almost 150 students in the first and second years and around 100 in the senior-most batches, this is a plus point, as professors can easily focus on each student. The curriculum is well-structured, and yes, it does prepare students for the industry. The exams are quite difficult, and the passing percentage for any course is 32%.
Other: My interest towards Data Science led me to land up in DSEB (Data Science Economics and Business). I have an interest in doing analysis of, say, policy reforms and its impact. I wanted to work on social issues and teach, so I find it as a way to emerge both. The best thing is that less students lead professors to focus more on students, which gives you the opportunity to work closely with a professor and explore more. Another thing is that it is very exciting to work on projects with expected outputs. Events happen frequently at the campus. The crowd is less. The university is remote, so local vehicles are not available, but one can book a cab anytime, and we have a shuttle service for weekends. The scholarship is of two types: need-based and merit based and in merit based they have 4 labs based on your 12th grade and other competitive exams marks, but it keeps on changing as you perform better or the other way round.

B.Tech. in Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence - Batch of 2028
4.0
Campus offers a supportive environment, with good learning opportunities.
Placements: Around 85–90 percent of students get placed, while some students do not appear in placements as they choose to pursue higher studies or become entrepreneurs. The highest salary package offered is around ₹50 LPA, whereas the lowest salary offered is around ₹8 LPA. Top recruiters include companies like BCG, McKinsey, Arcesium, Flipkart, Fractal Analytics, Info Edge, Whatfix, PolicyBazaar, Nagarro, Quizizz, and Pixxel. Almost all students get internship opportunities from top companies like DE Shaw, McKinsey, BCG, Flipkart, Visa, and Barclays.
Infrastructure: The campus infrastructure is good, with Wi-Fi-enabled classrooms, well-equipped laboratories, and an excellent library. Some construction is ongoing, causing minor hindrances, but it does not affect academic activities. Rooms are comfortable, clean, and well-ventilated. Mess food is quite good, probably better than many colleges. The campus also has club lounges, a dance room, Thrive room, gym, MPH, basketball and badminton facilities, a small auditorium, medical facilities, and sports facilities.
Faculty: I study B. Tech CSAI. I choose this course because of my love for coding and AI. It also allows me to learn how to practically address real-world problems. The first three semesters are called Fresh more, where students get a chance to explore all courses before specializing. The course is very relevant. Some help with exam stress would be appreciated, but otherwise, everything is very good.
