Birla Institute of Management Technology (BIMTECH), one of India’s premier business schools, successfully hosted the India Study Program 2025, welcoming students from FH Vorarlberg, Austria. Experiential Learning and Cultural Immersion

The program combined interactive sessions with BIMTECH’s experienced faculty, cultural immersion activities, and field visits to significant locations, including:

  • Aravalli Biodiversity Park (ABP), New Delhi – to understand environmental sustainability.
  • Protsahan India Foundation – a gender and child development initiative.
  • Agra Fort and the Taj Mahal – to explore India’s historical heritage.

Students also participated in meditation and yoga sessions, which complemented their academic learning with hands-on experiences.

Academic Insights and Leadership Development

Fourteen students and two faculty members from FH Vorarlberg engaged in cross-cultural discussions and interacted with local communities to understand sustainable development challenges in water management, agriculture, horticulture, and forestry.

Students also explored:

  • Khajaraha village (Babia) and Ghughava village (Badagaon Block) – to understand rural development initiatives.
  • Climate and Applied Forest Research Institute, RISE-Jhansi Incubation Centre, and Lakshya Community Radio Station – to gain insights into climate action and community-driven change.
  • One-night homestays with Indian families – offering a firsthand experience of local traditions and hospitality.
