The average monthly stipend for IIM Calcutta summer internships reached an astounding INR 1.89 lakh, while the median stipend stood at INR 2 lakh, both new records for the institute. The highest domestic stipend was an impressive INR 3.67 lakh per month, and the highest international stipend soared to INR 6.75 lakh. Notably, the top 5 percentile of students secured stipends of INR 3 lakh per month, underscoring the high demand for IIM Calcutta graduates in the competitive job market.
Diverse Recruitment Across Multiple Sectors
The placement process was conducted in a hybrid mode, with participation from 175 recruiters across a range of sectors, including FMCG, manufacturing, finance, consulting, technology, analytics, pharmaceuticals, and education.
