The primary goal of this MoU is to set the framework for a comprehensive Management/Leadership Capacity Building Program. This program is intended to significantly uplift the skills and knowledge of elected representatives, officials, and other key personnel involved in Panchayati Raj Institutions throughout Arunachal Pradesh.

Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Shillong and the State Institute of Rural Development & Panchayati Raj (SIRD&PR) in Arunachal Pradesh have officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to collaborate on a groundbreaking initiative focused on enhancing leadership and managerial capabilities within Panchayati Raj Institutions (PRIs) across the region. The agreement was formalized by Professor D.P. Goyal, Director of IIM Shillong, and Dr. Sonal Swaroop, IAS, Secretary of Panchayati Raj and President of the Executive Council at SIRD&PR.

Strengthening Rural Governance and Operational Efficiency
