NTA has released the NEET UG 2025 admit card on its official website. The authorities have released the hall ticket today i.e. April 30, 2025. The authorities have earlier mentioned that the hall ticket will be announced by May 1, 2025. Now, students can download the admit card from the official website neet.nta.nic.in using their allotted credentials. 

NTA has activated the NEET UG 2025 admit card download link at the official website. Students who are willing to appear for the entrance examination can now download their hall tickets from NTA official website. The link to download NEET admit card 2025 is activated at neet.nta.nic.in. 

NTA has released the NEET 2025 admit card on April 30, 2025, four days ahead of the exam day.

Retrieving the NEET registration number is a four-step process. Though the process is easy, candidates were advised to note the number carefully and not rely on this method.

• Go to the official website of NTA NEET.
• Click on “Forgot Registration Number”.
• Enter the following details: Name, mother’s name, father’s name, category, date of birth, and security pin.
• The registration number will be displayed on the screen.
• Copy the number and use it to download the admit card.

The following instructions must be followed during the NEET 2025 exam day.

1. The candidate must reach the Centre well in advance by 11:00 AM.
2. No candidate shall be permitted to enter the Centre after the Gate Closing- Time (01:30 PM).
3. No candidate shall be permitted to leave the Examination Room/Hall before the end of the examination
4. Candidates are advised to verify the location of the examination venue, at least a day in advance so that they do not face any problem on the day of examination.
5. Candidates are advised to bring the updated copy of their Aadhaar Card to the centre.
6. Candidates will be permitted to carry only the following items with them into the examination venue:
   a) A personal transparent water bottle.
   b) Additional photograph same as uploaded on Application Form, to be pasted on Attendance Sheet.
   c) Admit Card (to be issued separately) along with Self Declaration (Undertaking) with Postcard size photograph affixed on the designated space downloaded from the NTA website (a clear printout on A4 size paper) duly filled in
   d) PwD Certificate and Scribe-related documents, if applicable.
7. Candidates are NOT allowed to carry any personal belongings including electronic devices, mobile phones, and other banned/ prohibited items listed in the Information Bulletin to the Examination Centre. Examination Officials will not be responsible for the safe keep of personal belongings and there will be no facility at the centre to keep the belongings.
8. All candidates shall be under CCTV surveillance during the examination.

NEET 2025 will be conducted in a paper-pencil-based mode or offline mode. NTA has stated, "As decided by National Medical Commission, it is informed that the NEET (UG) 2025 shall be conducted in Pen and Paper mode (OMR based) in Single day and Single Shift.”

The total number of NEET 2025 exam cities is 566. The total number of NEET 2025 exam cities in India is 552, and that in other countries is 14. Last year, the total number of NEET exam cities in India was 557. This year, five cities have been removed from the list.

The NEET city allotment slip is not the same as the NEET admit card. While the NEET city intimation slip only informs candidates about the exam city and the state, the NEET admit card mentions the exact name and address of the NEET exam centre allotted to candidates.

Apart from this, the admit card of NEET also carries the exam day instructions and guidelines, and the Self Declaration Undertaking, which must be filled and signed by candidates. The NEET admit card also carries fields for parents', candidates' and invigilators' signatures. While parents' signatures have to be made on the document in advance, candidates and invigilators have to sign during the exam.

Last but not least, the NEET admit card is a mandatory document to be carried to the exam centre, without which candidates will not be allowed to appear for the exam. On the other hand, it is not mandatory to carry the NEET city allotment slip to the exam centre or for further events such as counselling or institute reporting.

As per the instructions given by NTA regarding the NEET 2025 admit card, candidates will have to sign on the admit card in the space provided in the presence of the invigilator. In case a candidate signs the admit card in advance, then they should discard it and take another printout of the document and paste the photographs and get it signed by his/her parents. Candidates will have to check the instructions again and follow the Dos and Don’ts carefully to avoid such unwarranted mistakes. Test-takers are advised to keep a couple of extra copies of the NEET admit card along with photographs and pens so that they can use them if they discover that they have signed in advance.

No, NTA did not extend or reopen the NEET 2025 application window. The NEET 2025 application process was conducted from February 7 to March 7, 2025.  

Last year, over 24 lakh candidates had applied for NEET. As per reports and speculations, the number of NEET 2025 registrations may be lower than last year. However, NTA has not released any official statement about it.

In case candidates are unable to login, they should first check whether the NEET application number, password and security pin or captcha entered are correct or not. In case either of the information is wrong, it will not be possible to login. In that case, they have to click on the Forgot Password tab and retrieve it either through the Security Question or through the Reset Link sent to their registered email address. In case of retrieving the NEET application number, they have to enter their names, email address and the Security Pin and submit. The NEET 2025 city intimation slip was released on April 23, 2025. NTA had announced that the document would be released by April 26, 2025, and it was released three days before the anticipated date.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has introduced a dedicated platform for candidates to report suspicious claims, aiming to ensure a fair and transparent examination process. The initiative has been taken as a response to last year's NEET question paper leak and other controversies. The platform, accessible at https://t.co/IqF6r9nnke, allows candidates to report three types of suspicious activities: unauthorised website activities, social media accounts claiming access to the NEET UG 2025 paper, and impersonation or fake officials. The reporting window remains open until 5:00 PM IST on May 4, 2025, aligning with the exam date to ensure prompt action.

This year, five cities have been removed from the list of NEET exam cities. These cities, and the states are Surampelam (Andhra Pradesh), Deoghar (Madhya Pradesh), Basar (Arunachal Pradesh), Mamit (Mizoram) and Kiphrie (Nagaland). As you can see, three out of five cities are located in the north-east states, and one each is located in Central India and South India. 

The NEET 2025 exam will be conducted in 14 cities abroad. The number of international cities where the NEET exam will be conducted has remained the same as last year. 

The NEET 2025 exam will be conducted in 552 cities across India. The total number of cities has been reduced by five.  

The NEET 2025 exam will be conducted on May 4, 2025, from 2 PM to 5 PM.
